Damn Yankees were one of the biggest rock super groups. Tommy Shaw from Styx on Lead vocals and Rhythm Guitar. Jack Blades from Night Ranger on Bass and backing vocals. Ted Nugent on lead guitar, and Michael Cartellone on drums has worked with John Fogerty and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

I think I'm two for two now on great picks for you. I knew you go bananas over this brother T! Your face was lit up like a big ol jack-o-lantern.
I don't think there are any by them that are "better" than this jam, but just about every song they did was great. This is IMO their top song performance wise.
"HIGH ENOUGH" was their real crowd pleasure radio popular one that was released. It's equally good, and little more ballad like. Not as kinetic as Come Again.
Others are: Coming of Age, Bad Reputation, Pile Driver (is a real fun one - a real nugent like song), Damn Yankees (yes it's a song too), Runaway, Mystified
The entire first album (Called DAMN YANKEES) is pure fire - every song will get you moving. Full of riffs, great guitar, and great harmonizing, and Tommy's amazing vocals.
If you want to hear some good Styx (tommy specifically) Man in the Wilderness, Crystal Ball, and Blue Collar Man
If you want some Night Ranger - Don't Tell Me You Love Me, When You Close Your Eyes, Sister Christian (one of the most popular power ballads of the 80s).

I saw Damn Yankees twice, once after each album, and of the 60 or 70 different bands I've seen over the years, they're still top 5, probably top 3 for just how good they sound live. Others like KISS put on bigger "shows." But for pure sound, Damn Yankees was VERY hard to beat. You mentioned your prior reaction to Styx's "Renegade." For most of their shows, for the encore, Damn Yankees did "Renegade," Ted's "Catch Scratch Fever," and Night Ranger's "You Can Still Rock in America." In fact, this video was taken from their 1992 Uprising concert in Denver, Colorado. I think the entire show may be on UA-cam still. You should checkout the encore. It's awesome. Just checking out their take on "Renegade" is worth your time. Rumor had it that Tommy Shaw always wanted to be a bit more of a hard rocker, but landed in a pop band instead. Damn Yankees was his chance to step it up a notch.

Nugent is one of those old school players who ensures he always is in the melody and absolutely kills it. IDK I have seen alot and love Clapton, Page, Vaughn, Hendrix and I will definately put Nugent in that same category.

DUDE you HAVE to listen to Crystal Ball if you want to see Styx rock it out with Timmy Shaw on lead vocals.
That song kicks ass. I thought I knew Styx until I heard that song come on the radio.
Suite Madame Blue is another epic classic with DeYoung on vocals.
