Maths Park

GMSSS 21-A, Chandigarh has made a Mathematical park, which is unique in its own way.
Colorful and attractive models have been designed along with games using these models, which are going to clear the basic concept of Mathematics of students in a fun manner, fulfilling the aim of JOYFUL LEARNING & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING.
This park is definitely going to develop CREATIVE AND CRITICAL THINKING among students. Few games are:
1. Mathematical Ludo - A Mathematical dice is used to play this Ludo. Snake and ladder concept are also on the basis of multiples and common multiples.
2. Graphical World - This will help students to clear the concept of cartesian plane. Also, game has been designed for perimeter and area by counting the n umber of squares inscribed in the polygon made by students.
3. Make me one - This activity enhances the ability of child to deal with mathematical operations
Also, there are many games which will help students to solve the mensuration, circle theorem, angle and time concept and 2D to 3D shapes in visualization and practical manner.
