With the expiration of MAP-21 on the horizon, the bicycle and pedestrian community is gearing up for a fresh debate on federal transportation policy. In September 2014, Rails-to-Trails Conservancy engaged leading Republican and Democratic pollsters to find out what likely 2016 voters for both parties really thought about the federal role in encouraging trails, walking and biking.
