Game 4: TGTTOS - Coins in TGTTOS for placement are still scored the same but the team bonus has been implemented since MCC 4. Thus the 376 coins Techno earnt stays the same. Game 6: Battle Box - The scoring for Battle Box hasn't changed from MCC 4 to MCC 15 so the 370 coins that Techno earnt remain the same. Game 7: Hole in the Wall - The scoring for HitW was changed in MCC 16 but we don't know the changes as the game was skipped so I'll be using the MCC 15 scoring for this (which is the same as the MCC 4 scoring). Game 8: Parkour Warrior - The scoring for Parkour Warrior was changed between MCC 4 and MCC 11 but it only affects players who finish so no changes apply here. Thus the 405 coins that Techno earnt remain the same. This means that Techno's MCC 4 performance would actually be 4607 had it happened in a more recent MCC. Which is insane since this isn’t even his best performance during mcc 4, there were so many different things he could have done which would’ve earned him even more points such as battle box and so on.
They’re like a family, Phil is the dad, Techno is the oldest, Wilbur is the middle, Tommy is the youngest, and Tubbo is the weird best friend that they all love. They’ve all agreed.
I thought Tubbo was the cousin that gets into lot's of shenanigans with Tommy, like Tommy is that crazy kid who does weird things, and Tubbo is a nice kid but follows him everywhere.
Sometimes the clustering is purposeful body blocking. For players like Wilbur who are generally weaker at the game, they purposefully will get in front of the better players to protect them.
The Technoplane is a reference to the time he took over the entire world in SMPEarth (maybe something else to check out? There's a playlist on Techno's channel,, its less roleplay than the dream SMP and more world domination and that's basically it lol)
Also, Sleepybois Inc has this family dynamic going on with Phil as the dad, Techno and Wilbur as the oldest brothers (who is older varies), and Tommy as the youngest.
9:16 buildmart was the same every time until techno went through every past VOD and used his "shopping list" strategy where he got a full list of every resource you could possibly need and divided it into 4 sections for his team. after that, the mcc devs made different builds.
Sometimes a family is a 32 year old world record setter, a 24 year old sadboy musician, a 22 year old adhd nerd, and a 16 year old human embodiment of a scream
@@KoruGo So, is toggle sprint specific to mouses or is it an actual minecraft option? Have I just never looked through the keybind settings thoroughly?
You can install it as a mod for 1.8 pvp. It's allowed just like optifine is allowed. As well, it's a vanilla feature in the newer versions which you can find in the accessibility settings.
@@YoBGS The devs have had to change a bunch of game modes because of Techno's strats. After MCC7 when he figured out all possible builds and distributed shopping lists to his teammates so they could collectively get all of the materials, the devs changed it so materials for the builds would be randomized each tournament. In earlier MCC's Bingo did not have keep inventory on so you could kill other players and pick up all of their belonging including the finished bingo items. Techno still has the most Bingo completions in a single championship record because he just went around killing everyone in one of the MCC's. Now keep inventory is on so you can't pick up others items. In Hole in the wall the walls used to only extend up to the edge of the platform, so Techno would Neo jump around the wall instead of going through the holes when the holes were more difficult to get through. Now the walls extend a block or two past the platform edge making it impossible to jump around them.
Not sure if you knew, but the thing techno does where he flies out of the water with a trident is caused by the enchantment Riptide. You sacrifice your ability to throw your trident to instead basically throw yourself
I think you mentioned something about a Build-Mart strategy in which someone could go through all the differents perspectives of the players on past MCCs to watch all the buildings, well, actually Techno did that or something similar, he basically narrowed down all the materials of all the possible buildings and his team won Built-Mart that time so...yeah, that happened, haha. (Sorry for the bad English, it's not my first language ;-;).
14:57 techno has bad social anxiety and adhd. and as a person with adhd these type of events would definitely make me stressed especially when so many people are counting on me to win. i think he does well because i believe hes on adhd medication + he tries not to let the stress get to him.

One thing I'd like to see you react to would be Philza Minecrafts video where he and technoblade teamed up in a mcm ( Minecraft Monday ) I don't remember the exact name but it's got a really cool thumbnail with Phil in it and some dope fanart I'll stop now but yeah I'd like to see that eventually
Answering 9:30 question, it didn't changed until techno memorized every single build and picked the exact item to make all of them at the beginning of the game.
Watch Techno's Ace Race record. It's short and on his second channel, but it was class. Talk about wiping the floor with everyone. The other people's reactions to it are pretty good, especially the organizer stream.
I'm kind of glad you did this video, because I realised recently that if you like things where someone overlooks a minecraft challenge or event, RTGame has done a lot of build days on his server where he'll give a theme and twitch subs go on and build to fit it. Call Me Kevin has also done a couple of Minecraft series. Neither are on the same level as Sleepy Bois Inc. but they're both entertaining lads, and RT is friends with Wilbur. RT and CMK are both variety channels on par with JackSepticEye, though. Speaking of Irish Lads; Terroriser and Daithi De Nogla have a server with their friends and a metric tonne of videos. Again, if you want to watch more average players just having fun. Terroriser and Daithi's group are a lot more rowdy.
Oh! Also! Techno and Phil teamed up in Minecraft Mondays once. I do not know who agreed that they were allowed to do that, but that would be fun to watch you react to, too.
They sometime cluster, so they can body-block, especially for someone like techno. In mcc 8 Micheal body-blocks for Techno because he was getting targeted.
32:00. If you think about it, grouping together is actually better, especially if its to guard the better players on your team. Due to the limited space there is practically nowhere to go. Spreading out would give a greater chance of hitting someone than grouping on practically the same block. While yes, its likely unintentional, and it would be difficult to see, it is a strategy if you know how to do it.
Yeahhh! That’s sorta the conclusion I came to because if you’re trying to spread out consciously it minimizes the free space you actually have to move which makes you a offer target
There are two different enchantments in the game that will modify the way you throw a trident. You saw techno use both in this video. Loyalty makes your trident return to you, and Riptide will propel you through water or shoot you into the air if your standing in water or in the rain but prevents you from throwing it allowing you instead to enjoy your wildest torpedo fantasys
@@lenathefirst_4574 I was initially planning on writing recovering instead of reeling but I don't think that's possible with how devastated I still am from the Finale Manburg war
With buildmart they had a set amount if builds, I think it was 27 or something and they are randomly picked before every event, so every team gets the same builds but it is a different selection every event ... yet it was still able to be destroyed by 2 certain tryhards that calculated the amount of every block necessary to make every build
9:21 it used to be always the same but then techno looked up every build and found exactly how many blocks were needed and then they started changing it
Aye! Nice reaction to seeing a glimpse at our Sleepy bois! They are a POG family-dynamic group, and I personally adore them. Phil being dad, Techno as older brother, Wilbur as middle (or Wilbur older and Techno middle depending on who you talk to, but Wilbur has said Techno would be older. Its funny to know that sleepytwt said lets just make them twins XD) and Tommy as the youngest. Would recommend watching the terraforming the moon for more SBI chaos Phil is kinda soft in the recording but Phil is a beast and shouldn't be underestimated, especially when he has an elytra (you're just asking for death at that point) I'd recommend watching Philza's Wilbur Talking About Eating Sand for 14 Minutes video to see more of his dad side. Them scrunching up is sorta a mix tbh. People are just trying to avoid and scrunch a bit or weaker members of the team try to body block for the stronger players. Actually, Techno made a shopping list for buildmart with all the possible materials needed and watched past MCC buildmarts. This man doesn't half ass anything, he goes all in.
for more sleepy bois inc content i recommend Wilbur's video Terraforming the Moon in Minecraft, it shows off their dynamics really well, mcc kind of stifles them a bit because they are so focused on winning
From someone who does quite a bit of parkour, that course is pretty damn easy if you've practised parkour at all. The thing is, most youtubers haven't. (That's why people like Dream and Pete usually dominate)
9:30 funny you say that because this one time (MCC 7 maybe but not sure) Techno watched all the perspectives from all the build mart games played in MCC until that point and identified all the different possible builds so everyone just had 1 big shopping list with the precise amount of every item to complete all builds. His team got 1st place in build mart and the following MCC there were new builds and old ones were removed
The flying through the air is a actual enchantment called riptide you can get for tridents where instead of throwing it you fly with it you can't throw it on land in and you can only fly with it if you are in water when you try to throw it or it's raining where you can fly around in the air with it
I have so many years of minecraft experience that when I’m at the edge of a block my pinky slams the shift button with the might of zeus and i don’t even have to think about it, this is truly ultra instinct
28:55 you asked how to do those ladder jumps. So you hold down Ctrl, then you hit W and Space very close together and that allows you to sprint jump off the top of a ladder. Also you asked earlier about crouching, it's holding Shift
Techno does have problems with stress but it kinda helps that his fans don't care and just joke about it, but sometimes they can take it too far and make him think we actually care about him not being top.
They are clumping together to prevent targeting a particular player, as since they are piled on it will hit the one you want instead of what they want if I remember correctly
For java, there is a setting under Accessibility to toggle crouch and sprint. :) Edit: I happen to use the crouch toggle when i build; it sure saves so much effort.
4:10 Toggle Crouch: By default to crouch, you have to hold shift, but as of 1.14 (I think that was the version it was introduced), there are some accessibility settings where you can set crouch to toggle instead of hold. However this has the significant disadvantage of making swimming controls difficult. There is currently no way to have crouch be toggle on land and hold in water. 10:50 Teams of 4: It didn't happen overnight. Techno is very socially awkward, his first time in the wider community was MCM and he always struggled to find a teammate. It wasnt until later on he finally was able to settle into a group. 27:40 How hard is the parkour: It's the same course. It was created with the intention that nobody would be able to beat it because it was so long and hard, but as Dream and everyone else got comfortable with the course and tricks (the practice server helped with that too), they started to get further and further each time it was played. In MCC 10, Dream finished the course, which EpicLandLord didn't like, so he rigged it to explode in MCC 11. When Dream finished the course again, ELL detonated the TNT, thus removing Parkour Warrior from MCC for good.
“Why do people cluster together in this game” because they lack coordination and at this point in MCC it was a mostly for-fun event, so strats such as juke-dodging, funnel hierarchy, not clumping, etc. weren’t specific established
So a small thing to note: Skyblockle and Foot Race have been replaced by two other games: Sky Battle (which is now more like fast-paced Skywars than PVP Skyblock) and Ace Race (you've seen it before - tridents, elytra, speed and jump boosts and a way cooler map than just running). Parkour Warrior was also replaced by Parkour Tag because people (both competitors and admins) were getting frustrated (**ahem** Dream **ahem**)
People usually don't toggle crouch, but if you want to, that is done via java mods, most other MC youtubers use either the Badlion or Lunar clients which package a lot together, or build the mods they want into a custom Forge pack (all the mods in one folder with Forge to run them). Build Mart is a static event, but after Techno pulled a play where he memorized all of the builds and all possible blocks, the builds change each week. The chaos is pretty normal, so it's like how you get used to all the cooldowns in MMOs, you learn how to watch everything. The parkour course is difficult, they then made it more difficult to prevent finishers, then Dream finished anyway. It is a sprinting jump, but so that you don't run off a sprint key is used so that when that key is pressed, any time you move forward is sprinting. They increased the number off dodge bolt rounds later on since teams often had it get really close, so giving it more time to be close is better. People get closer together to 'block' the good shooters who are more likely to get the people with the better aim, basically the people who are most accurate are the only priority in the game since shots are limited.
If you wanna look for Tommy throwing, there’s an MCC with his best mate Tubbo, and then Pokimane and Wilbur. Tubbo and Tommy’s whole thing was “Isn’t this so awkward for Wilbur?” For Build Mart, no it doesn’t change, but they NEVER play build mart because almost everyone hates it so no-one actually bothers to learn it because they rarely ever vote for it. In dodgebolt, they crowd to gain a chance to body block the MVP of the team.
Press esc.-Options-Accessibility Settings. Then there's a button that says "Sneak: Hold". Click it once and it'll switch to "Sneak: Toggle" and you can toggle your crouching. Most people don't use that, but if you like it, that's fine. I do recommend switching your sprinting to toggle, at least to try it out because some people like it better. (This is only in the newer versions of Minecraft, so some of the older versions don't have this option.)
@@YoBGS Just bare in mind that sneak toggle will make swimming slightly more difficult. I'm honestly waiting for the day that they add "Sneak: Toggle on land, Hold in water" as an option.
Minecraft really is such a versatile game (re: the comparison between manhunt and this) And to me MCC and manhunt are actually still fairly similar to each other, you haven't even taken a look at redstoners or creative mode builders yet! They're a whole different story too. And yet it's all the same game. (If you want builder recs, I suggest Pearlescentmoon. Either her "a build a day" series is really cool or the dragon build timelapse that's featured on her channel.)
14:00 The teams work well together because they’re manually placed into teams by smajor. Which is the reason why the MCC Dream Team can’t happen. Pete, Techno, Dream, and Quig on one team would steam roll everyone else.
When you were talking about teams of 4, It made me think of when my best friend stole my horse and then jumped in lava... and my other friends would steal from each other every time we team in Minecraft so as you can tell we have great team chemistry lol
25:29 it has something to do with connection but there are recomended settings that the noxcrew says to use. Like fast render off Also comes down to reaction speed mostly. Since the walls are slime blocks and act like being pushed by pistons, they will allways lag. You can also lag though them by pressing sift repeatetly
Technoblade saying "this sounds like my parents" is a bit dark when you realize that his parents got divorced a few years ago and it had a huge effect on his emotional well being. I remember in one video his his voice started cracking when he talked about them.
Purpled did a bedwars video with a hand cam so you can see what buttons he presses as he plays, and I think Illumina has a sensor thing that notes which buttons he presses and shows them on screen while he does speedruns sometimes, so you could check those out if you're interested in seeing keyboard and mouse plays (not even as a reaction type thing if you don't want to, I'm just letting you know that they're there)
28:53 In the newer versions of java there’s a sprint key that you ho,d down for sprint. So you don’t need to double tap w to sprint, you can still double tap but it isn’t a good thing to do. Also in the accessibility settings you can change your sneak and sprint functions. For both sprint and shift the default is you hold the key to perform the action and the other setting is toggle, this lets you press the button once to activate either sprint or shift then deactivates when you press it again. Also auto jump will be enabled the first time you play java, auto jump makes the player automatically jump up to the next block without having to press space. If you’re doing parkour turn off auto jump because you don’t want to be randomly jumping at a ledge.
28:45 "WW" Pro tip: If you wanna learn, learn to use the sprint button, you *HERETIC.* Seriously tho, do yourself a favor and stop making precise movements more difficult by using the double tap lol
to turn crouch to toggle: open up the menu, go to accessibility settings, and then click crouch:hold and you should be able to turn your crouch into a toggleable version also you can start sprinting instantly if you hold ctrl while moving forward
Some top gamer advice here. You can press and hold left shift to Sprint rather than double tapping W since it's much better. You can also change left shift to Sprint to any key you want to Sprint and you won't need to double tap
There is an option in the cotrols where shift can be toggled but no one uses it since it hard to speed bridge since you need to rotate from crouching and not. I mean you could speedbridge without crouching if you have good internet and good cps
Players sometimes clump up together because they are more focused on trying to dodge the arrows and doesn't notice the others but it's also a way to block a good shooter from getting hit

There's a playlist on Techno's channel,, its less roleplay than the dream SMP and more world domination and that's basically it lol)
technoplane started on a tournament i believe
I highly recommend Philza's "Wilbur Talking About Eating Sand for 14 Minutes", it really captures the Dad energy that Phil has within SBI

9:16 buildmart was the same every time until techno went through every past VOD and used his "shopping list" strategy where he got a full list of every resource you could possibly need and divided it into 4 sections for his team. after that, the mcc devs made different builds.
FunFact: Techno got bored one time, and spent 6 hours the night before a tournament to memorize every build and made a list
He wasn’t bored lol he was dedicated
SBI is a fantastic group, their dynamic is very family-like and they're a ton of fun to watch

You can sprint even without pressing "W" twice, I think "CONTROL" is the default sprint button. You can change it if you want.
I've tried using that, and it's more effective, but rip your pinky
You do realize that toggle sprint exists. Just bind your sprint key to the side button on your mouse (if it has those) and turn on toggle sprint.
@@KoruGo dang, I haven't kept up with newer versions. Makes sense
Oh techno actually did that he memorized every build and had the amount of material for each thing
I’m somehow completely not surprised
Again, that was in MCC 7, not this MCC.
I didn't know that but I love it now
The Sleepy Bois have the most team coins out of every mcc team ever
SMP Earth is where Technoplane became a meme.
There's one secret sleepy boi that got adopted later on.....

Fun fact: I didn't know til this year, and I've been playing since 2012.
The sprint key was added in an update, it was definitely after 2012, I think it was in 1.8 but could be mistaken.
Thank goodness! You all make me feel less self conscious about still learning the game
@@YoBGS the default keys for sprint and crouch though are held instead of toggled. You can set that to toggle in the accessibility settings in-game. (In later versions though. I have no idea when those were added)
In one of the mcc's dream and techno both memorized build mart and practiced it with their teams and then dominated so now they fixed it I think
The lengths these two go to. I love it.
@@YoBGS Techno did say he was hesitant to seem too obsessive in front of Dream after MCC 7 was done, but then he said out loud that he realized that he was talking to the other most obsessive person in the entire event
The parkour in this one is definetly easier than in the more recent MCC's but it definetly is still challenging to the not Technoblade's of the world.
Please don't double-tap "W" for sprint, there's a keybind for it that's auto-set to ctrl but can be changed.

I also recommend watching his smp earth series
Answering 9:30 question, it didn't changed until techno memorized every single build and picked the exact item to make all of them at the beginning of the game.
Watch Techno's Ace Race record. It's short and on his second channel, but it was class. Talk about wiping the floor with everyone. The other people's reactions to it are pretty good, especially the organizer stream.
Wait I think I saw a clip of this somewhere. I forget what happens but doesn’t he basically just go like max speed straight for the end?
@@YoBGS He beat second place by over 30 sec and set the new record for the event by like 16 sec. It was nuts!
"It's so useful to be good at video games" Who would've thought huh

@@YoBGS Well you've beaten me
They sometime cluster, so they can body-block, especially for someone like techno. In mcc 8 Micheal body-blocks for Techno because he was getting targeted.
That makes sense, I assumed they had some logic to them but it's hard to tell in the moment on a blind reaction
I recently found your channel and I have to be honest I’m loving your reactions. Keep up the good work :)
@@YoBGS You replied to two of my comments, genuinely thought you were a random person at first that somehow found both my comments

There are two different enchantments in the game that will modify the way you throw a trident. You saw techno use both in this video. With buildmart they had a set amount if builds, I think it was 27 or something and they are randomly picked before every event, so every team gets the same builds but it is a different selection every event
... yet it was still able to be destroyed by 2 certain tryhards that calculated the amount of every block necessary to make every build
Would recommend watching the terraforming the moon for more SBI chaos
Phil is kinda soft in the recording but Phil is a beast and shouldn't be underestimated, especially when he has an elytra (you're just asking for death at that point) I'd recommend watching Philza's Wilbur Talking About Eating Sand for 14 Minutes video to see more of his dad side.
How would one go about practicing? Can you just download parkour worlds?
@@YoBGS there are online parkour courses. Of course you could also build some yourself to practice
Oh sleep can wait, Watching this video is more important.
The flying through the air is a actual enchantment called riptide you can get for tridents where instead of throwing it you fly with it you can't throw it on land in and you can only fly with it if you are in water when you try to throw it or it's raining where you can fly around in the air with it
I would say in terms of MCC this one is one of the best MCCs from all of the tournaments that have happened
I have so many years of minecraft experience that when I’m at the edge of a block my pinky slams the shift button with the might of zeus and i don’t even have to think about it, this is truly ultra instinct
you can take a break you know. your averaging more than one video a day, you can rest. p.s. watch technoblade take over smp earth
The build mart used to be the same every time until technoblade memorized them all and one build mart by a lot
28:55 you asked how to do those ladder jumps. So you hold down Ctrl, then you hit W and Space very close together and that allows you to sprint jump off the top of a ladder. Also you asked earlier about crouching, it's holding Shift
Right but you can toggle crouch on Bedrock and that’s the thing I’ve been trying to figure out how to do
@@YoBGS I know you can toggle sprint on Java, but I don't think toggle crouch exists outside of mods
Edit: I happen to use the crouch toggle when i build; it sure saves so much effort.
I found these and they are saving my soul!
Technoblade's reaction time in dodgeball was so Good that he could dodge the arrows while they where coming at him lmao
You don't toggle crouch in java, you just kill your pinky. Or rebind the crouch key to something easier to hold if you're weak
It's more just that it's... idk like learning to play piano. Making my hands do the things my brain wants is difficult
the beginning crafting recipe thing looks really coolll
Thank you! Seemed fitting given that I watched them all individually and put them together in one kinda big thing!
Haha that sounds about right!
REACT TO: "2b2ts history of Incursions by" Fit MC
Tubbo and Tommy’s whole thing was “Isn’t this so awkward for Wilbur?”
For Build Mart, no it doesn’t change, but they NEVER play build mart because almost everyone hates it so no-one actually bothers to learn it because they rarely ever vote for it.
You are my hero for the day. Thank you so much!!
@@YoBGS Just bare in mind that sneak toggle will make swimming slightly more difficult. I'm honestly waiting for the day that they add "Sneak: Toggle on land, Hold in water" as an option.
16:58 it's a trident enchantment called riptide, whenever you shoot it in water, you fly into the air
About the sprint jump in the settings you can switch it from hold and toggle. You can either WW or left ctrl dependinding on your keybind
Minecraft really is such a versatile game (re: the comparison between manhunt and this)
And to me MCC and manhunt are actually still fairly similar to each other, you haven't even taken a look at redstoners or creative mode builders yet! They're a whole different story too. And yet it's all the same game.
(If you want builder recs, I suggest Pearlescentmoon. Either her "a build a day" series is really cool or the dragon build timelapse that's featured on her channel.)
Oh I know the redstoners exist, I’ve seen a ton of what like Mumbo Jumbo and them make and they are just legit unreal
@@YoBGS awesome!
22:44 All the teams try to do that, unless the other team rushes the middle to fill in everything without getting kills.
Like fast render off
Also comes down to reaction speed mostly. Since the walls are slime blocks and act like being pushed by pistons, they will allways lag.
You can also lag though them by pressing sift repeatetly
These are all very unique games, a game like Skyblockle doesn't really exist outside of MCC. I really wish I could play it though!
Man I’ve been subbed since 1k ur growing so fast
Technoblade saying "this sounds like my parents" is a bit dark when you realize that his parents got divorced a few years ago and it had a huge effect on his emotional well being. I remember in one video his his voice started cracking when he talked about them.
28:52 you can also just hit ctrl to sprint instead of tapping W twice
Thank you... I seem to be lacking common sense in Java lol
Purpled did a bedwars video with a hand cam so you can see what buttons he presses as he plays, and I think Illumina has a sensor thing that notes which buttons he presses and shows them on screen while he does speedruns sometimes, so you could check those out if you're interested in seeing keyboard and mouse plays (not even as a reaction type thing if you don't want to, I'm just letting you know that they're there)
Another person who shows keyboard is Calvin, who's really good at pvp!
28:45 "WW" Pro tip: If you wanna learn, learn to use the sprint button, you *HERETIC.*
Seriously tho, do yourself a favor and stop making precise movements more difficult by using the double tap lol
You should watch the technoblade vickstar /top incident during mc mondays
Please no, I can't see it anymore.
"you think anyone would memorize buildmart"
*mcc7 flashbacks*
They cluster together because they have to jump + run around a bunch and don't really pay attention to where exactly they jump/run
to turn crouch to toggle: open up the menu, go to accessibility settings, and then click crouch:hold and you should be able to turn your crouch into a toggleable version
also you can start sprinting instantly if you hold ctrl while moving forward
Some top gamer advice here. You can press and hold left shift to Sprint rather than double tapping W since it's much better. You can also change left shift to Sprint to any key you want to Sprint and you won't need to double tap
There is an option in the cotrols where shift can be toggled but no one uses it since it hard to speed bridge since you need to rotate from crouching and not.
I mean you could speedbridge without crouching if you have good internet and good cps
Hello YoBGS where can I find your discord server cause I would love to join.
Players sometimes clump up together because they are more focused on trying to dodge the arrows and doesn't notice the others but it's also a way to block a good shooter from getting hit
