Usually the baptism of the Holy Spirit - ie comes first. At least it did for me. Well it was 25 years ago. Heck I wish I had all these teachers 25 years ago because everything came through the Holy Ghost in His timing. He teaches us all this.
Yes, the baptism of the Holy Spirit should come first. And it did for me as well and was 26 years for me to be exact. Then 5 years later is when I became aware that I was called to the prophetic. But, trust and believe many out here skip steps. A lot of times the basics are overlooked. Everyones journey is unique. For me as soon as the Holy Spirit starting speaking I started asking for HELP 🤣 because I thought I was going crazy. And I believe as a result of my seek and knocking, my training came from The Holy Spirit, the Word, my Pastor at that time, 100's of books that I researched, and then finally getting connecting to someone who could equip me. But I do agree that now there is a lot more teaching available. Some of the LORD and som NOT. Amen! Thanks for commenting 🙌🏽
@@prophetandrearoberts I didn’t know until 12 years that I was called to be a prophet. I wasn’t raised in church. I went to a friend’s house on December 19, 1998. He answered the door and said “we need to pray. It’s about to be the end of the world.” I said okay. After we prayed and I left that’s when the Holy Spirit fell on me as I was putting the key in the door to unlock my car. He gave me a vision in all gold. It was like a pyramid of people and I was on the second level sitting in the second row of seats. The Lord didn’t tell me what the vision meant until 12 years later. It was 1 Corinthians 12:28 - I was in the second seats as secondarily prophets. When He first spoke to me audibly I was in the shower the second time I was brushing my teeth. :) I love the Lord.
I love your experiences. One of the things I always tell people is this. When we are called at some point we should have a defining moment. Thanks for sharing yours.
A lot of us can be prophetic but it doesn't mean your a prophet. Prophet Lovy recently said, "if you've never encountered Jesus himself and dont know your true purpose in life, then you're not a prophet. ❤
Indeed I distinguish the difference in my teachings. There is a difference between having the gift of prophecy vs being a prophet. I have a teaching explaining the difference 👇 ua-cam.com/video/smYnSHGrcsw/v-deo.htmlsi=J4o5QT17UKz5ELs5
