Something this episode and one of the previous episodes shows is that, just because people can be high ranked, like B or A Ranked (or even S-Ranked) doesn't mean they will have the courage and mental fortitude to handle the dangers they will face. It also shows that some people don't get the powers that you'd expect them to get. Mr. Song is an accomplished master Swordsman before he awakened, but instead of gaining powers that reflect that, he gets Mage Powers and stats, making all of his skill and experience as a Swordsman almost entirely pointless. Joohee is a B-Ranked awakened person, yet she lacks the bravery and mental fortitude to do anything beyond E and D-Rank dungeons.
In the manhwa, after the fight with Kang Taeshik and after Joohee and Chi-yul leave, Jinwoo notices that one of the prisoners was still alive and had had his throat cut by Taeshik so he couldn't scream. So Jinwoo decides to drag him to the boss room (which was filled with a ton of goblins) and toss him in there by himself before going in to clear it out. The man deserved it, tbh.
The jumping up and down in the middle of the fight was a tribute to Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama. Goku does the exact same jumping in Broly movie.
