    Great podcast….slow is good….easier to listen to, understand and digest. Joined reseller freedom…covers everything reselling, except,
    your OA keepa/book specialty is the one direction that I want. But there are hours of your coaching calls there so it’s worth it to me for awhile. Hope your course comes out in a couple of months.

    What a great video! What did Jim mean by, "Joji's Deals?" Is that when he's using your filtering recommendations? Excellent information; thanks for sharing!

      Yes! He was referring the settings I use when sourcing with Keepa Deals! :) I have a few of those videos on my channel!

    Really enjoyed this video. Having the beginners there alongside you was great because they asked very similar questions to ones that I would have.
    So my ? is: are the tools like Scoutly and Scout Iq not very good? I know everyone says reading Keepa is the way to go but I don’t really completely trust myself because Im new.
    So I’ve compared several books keepa score to Scoutly and it’s weird the differences. For example one book I looked at said the used price being steady at $4 for 3 months with the used buy box being 17.75 5 times over the last 3 months (which I don’t really understand that either. How can the buy box be $17.75 and the used price consistently be at $4) and Scoutly suggested it be sold for $21 with only one other fba book. I’m not sure you can even answer this without seeing the chart but ultimately my ? is so you still suggest newbies strictly stick with the keepa charts and roll with the punches?

      ScoutIQ and Scoutly are very useful tools for making split second decisions when you have to process hundreds or thousands of books. They ding green or red to indicate the likelihood of the book being a good book. With that said, reading the keepa chart of a book gives you so much more information about that books history. So, it really depends on how you plan to source. If you're going to do free pickups, do library sales, and thrift, you absolutely need ScoutIQ or Scoutly for getting through the volume. If you're doing online book arbitrage like I'm doing, I can afford spending the additional time needed to read the keepa graph since I'm buying fewer books and spending more money per book. It's a question that we could expand on a lot! Thanks for the question!

      Also am I correct in thinking by what you said that you would use Scoutly or Scout Id if our thrifting but then look at the keepa chart to help determine the price or you think the pricing on those apps is pretty accurate?

      @jojidavenport  Рік тому +1

      @@peachykeenefun3816 I think pricing with keepa is always the best! :)

    One more question Joji.When I go on Keepa I find where it says books will be say $5 and when I go into check it is never that cost.Always higher.Like I get it some are FBA and have shipping costs added after that number.Is there a way so you can get shipping added in so I don't waste time going in to find this?A filter of some sort?Even without this the books are very rarely that cost and Keepa says checked one minute ago.Thank You.

      @jojidavenport  6 місяців тому +1

      This is one of the annoying features of keepa. Unfortunately you cannot change that. But that is why in BookMine we give the all in price and not the price keepa reports. As you've noticed, the deal is usually not as great when there is shipping included.

      @@jojidavenport Ok thanks Joji for the quick response.I know Bookmine is the ultimate goal but I can’t right now with finances but one day I am hoping.Other question is,does Bookmine work in Canada as well?

    • @jamie3388
      @jamie3388 6 місяців тому

      Sorry I forgot to mention but yes when shipping is added it puts the book prices insanely high but alot of times the price itself has increased significantly.
