- Tips, Tricks, & Tutorials: Episode V (Part 1)
In this episode, we break down Steely Dan's 1972 classic, "Do It Again." This is probably the most well-known song we've covered in my TTT series so I hope to see many new faces enjoying this lesson. In this video, we go over the keyboard riff. For "how to play" the organ solo, see the link below. Happy Practicing!!

I always thought it was a Rhodes but I went back and listened to it and it instantly has the Wurli's distinctive ethereal mutedness.
The beginning playthrough with the key visualisations + high quality video is so great!
So true
I agree. I just want to drive home the fact that the visualisation is infact the reason I'll be coming back too.
This was a great find for me! You are a wonderful and entertaining teacher & musician! Thanks! 🎹♥️🎹
Great job!!! This track is one of the best from SD...Disco beat with bluesy jazzy chords and solos.
Thanks so much for this, your ability to sing and play at the same time shows what a great musician you are. Can't wait to hear the lead.
Greg, absolutely loving your instructions. Broken down perfectly & beautiful arrangements. Thank you from Down Under. 👍
Great job! Clear explanation without any extraneous fluff.
Very thoughtful tutorial!!!
Glad to know you plan to be upping the frequency of your uploads. Nice tutorial. Looks like I'm the first to say thanks, yet again ! LOL
Keep up the good work, you're a good piano teacher
Great, thanks!
I doubt if I could master the organ solo.. but I am grateful for this.. I'm playing this in Em... easier to sing. I really wanted to know the figure at the end of the riff 2x G /cfg | whereas the the end or turnaround it's D /cdg (on the 5th in the bass!!
Thanks for that! !
Awesome! Subscribed
