      I was wondering the same thing. In principle it will since the diamond blade combined with the water should be ideal, if the guard can be raised high enough (or just remove it) and the guide will allow for a square cut. Good luck!

    Using one at the moment. Why did I even think I could use it indoors lol. Bloody pisses everywhere off the surface of the tiles. Also pretty small making 60x60’s a bit of a pain to push through. But......it cuts clean and the fence clamps down accurately so well worth the outlay

      Yep. This cutter way to small for 60x60's. Instead get yourself a decent dry cut diamond disc, Markrist CK 850 disc is brilliant. Stick that on your grinder and your away. No need for water but still cut outside as porcelain dust not good for you. This is the only disc we use for our work and goes through porcelain easy.

      Busyboy 42 thanks for the recommendation. I’ve managed to get by for this first bathroom but two more to tackle after. It’s now obvious to me that it’s pretty laborious using this for 60x60x’s. Don’t get me wrong it works, but impossible for mitre cuts as will only cut from one side and despite the water it’s not entirely clean cut. Fine but slow progress, and means using fresh tiles for each partial cut as need the factory edge on the grout lines so excess waste. Wouldn’t like to attempt to buff these out with a diamond pad.....be there a week.

      It's an excellent cutter, i'm currently tiling the kitchen floor and it's so easy to clean

    My one used to spray water towards me and soak me on every cut, u looked dry after so I'm assuming you didn't have this problem. If so, ill have to look into getting that.

      +Jackzuk the cover over the blade stopped me getting soaked but I did get a little bit of water sprayed on me nothing major.

    Hi I've bought this cutter but my guard doesn't stay up as yours does, mine, goes on and the front of the blade is always right down touching the plate, meaning you can't see the blade when cutting, Any advice??

    Hi mate... Got a silly question for u... U know where u put the water in the tile saw... Does the machine leak while the water is inside....

    • @GeekStreet
      @GeekStreet  6 років тому

      Thanks for the comment. No question is silly. The water in the tile cutter does not leak out but as you are cutting it does come out to keep the blade cool and reduce dust. Hope that helps, don't forget to like and subscribe!

      The "laser" line is a waste on these as it's wildly inaccurate. However, for the money these are decently built otherwise and a nice size. The fence can be clamped accurately which is not the case on most of the cheaper models you see around the £40-70 mark. The horrible rattly plastic fences on those make them pointless - a bad tool is worse than no tool. Whilst Erbauer is not my favourite make by a long way for power tools, this unit does the job nicely for the DIY tiler who wants to do a better than average DIY job or who has a lot of tiling to do on their house. Well worth the extra money over the £40-70 range you see in the DIY stores. The build quality on a lot of those is horrible and this is definitely a step up whilst not of course in the class of the £200+ ones which you'd maybe buy if you were a pro. It's not too splashy compared to some, and the bung worked for me though I've read reviews where it dripped, but it would be very easy to resolve with a bit of polythene or plumbers mait if it did drip. This unit had a nice solid metal table, again,again vast improvement over the cheaper range ones with plastic (!) or thin pressed metal ones. The table sits nice and firm on my erbauer ,essential for accurate cuts. I'd definitely recommend this for the keen DIY tiler - and even if your only doing one kitchen or bathroom,it's well worth £100 to get nice clean cuts and neat work.

      Видимо это есть оригинал того пликореза. На моем канале есть упрощённая Китайская копия. И видимо Я правильно понял задумку конструктора. Что должна быть Ванна.
