When I heard the first words of the story about the bear and saw the bear statue on the bench I thought,"Omigosh, there it is!!" This was a unique story in a unique setting. Time-travel stories aren't usually my cup of tea because of the shifts in events, but this was well done. Especially interesting since it was set in India. Thanks for the steady flow of stories Doc,and your diligence in putting them out. Hope it's not too hot in Holland, right now. Best wishes as always to you and your family. Peace out!

Hey doc, I just wanted to say thank you for narrating all of these amazing stories. I've been subbed for a looong time and want you to know that all the hard work you put into making these videos does not go unnoticed. Thank you for the wonderful nightly listen!
I love when you put out 2+ hour stories. I fall asleep to them and if I wake up in the middle of the night its still going on. Your stories are a lot better than taking medicine to sleep.
Ok here we go Doctor..looking forward to this 2 hours of your narrations and I know you have chosen yet another GREAT author. Thank you for everything you do for ALL of your fans. Greg Chaney in coastal NC
I live in India and the village is real. The fun fact the theory is that the villagers left overnight due to an overlord who was actually in love with the chief's daughter. When the marriage proposal was refused he increased the taxes for months the villagers try to leave the village. When the lord got the wiff of their escape trials he passed an warning that if even one of villagers left the whole village is to be slaughtered. To prevent that outcome they left the village on the dead of night, all of them together. But the fun fact about it is that none of the neighbouring villages saw an influx of people which can be seen during a big migration like that. Few theories are that they were caught and killed on rought(as the village actually is untouched) , they knew the neighbouring villages might contact the lord about migration so they avoided all the villages around a curtain territorial radius.
The quite crackling of a fire in the background made me feel like a little girl sitting on the floor of a cozy sitting room listening to a favorite Uncle telling me a story.🤗
A story based in India....splendid. As a matter of fact Rajasthan is home to the most haunted places in India...it has a reputation for that......Everywhere you go is full of stories.....
Wow just. ... wow. A direct than normal setting, and one that I love. I've always loved abandoned and haunted places especially ones that are not well known ot talked about. The author made a completely compelling story, with proper use of demonology, Magicks and lore. And as always had live breathed in to it by Dr.Creepens magnificent talents. This is my third time listening to it and I think I have some grasp on it. The one thing that makes me smile ever time is the authors use of a film trope. That of Checkov's Gun.
Even if I'm not crazy about the particular story I almost always give these guys a Like. It's the very least I can do for the hours upon hours of entertainment they have been providing me since I started listening to CP narrators way back in 2015.
India is so cool, I wish there were more stories based there. It has one of the longest recorded histories in the world, and more than enough myth and legend to base horror on. You would think that such a big place had massive differences in culture (like different regions of the US)... And though in-country it obviously does, but outside of it anything coming from there- jewelry, media, music, clothing- is instantly recognizable as *Indian* nonetheless. It's truly a region like nowhere else in the world, even in our modern age. I've just always thought that's awesome.
Lakshi seems completely non self aware ( a bit thick lol) if he hadn't murdered Sondar for daring to be upset then the villagers wouldn't have killed the suspected witch couple which precipitated everything else.... fabulous narration as usual, thank you sir
Yeah non of this makes any sense. Because the story is told in layers. Layers that don't make a whole lot of sense. Why didn't they save the Mother and father from that fate? Every single character acted irrationally and completely without good cause.
It's like no one figures out how time travel ends up working. YOU cause the very outcome that youre trying to avoid by bouncing back and forth; past, present, future.
Thank you Doc for giving me another long one to get through work tonight! Looks like another fantastic story and you are the best narrator on the platform! Thanks again good sir!

There are so many good Asian (and South Asian) horror stories. Problem is most of them are shared in the local language, and bringing them to English audiences is something few think to do. Yup. U wouldn't go back it time to change it. If it hadn't already happened. And continue to happen. Or you'd never go back??? If that makes sense? 🤔
if you time traveled, you would go to another timeline not your own. You can't go into your own past, that's actually based on current science.
