Being that Omar was gone this week I think that kid probably got away with more then he would've normally. I wasn't there at night class but yeah, hopefully he gets dwelt with correctly for his betterment and the safety of the gym as well.
great podcast however i must defend the last part about the kid. i was there saw it and didn't think it was bad at all. i think every young cat that train with the adults should be "monitored" i have not gone with that kid but i have spoken to him an he is super humble at least when i have spoken to him. he even broke down the scissor to me and totally loved it, there was no flying however it was fast that it might have looked like he flew. i have gone with the other boys there that he has gone with and they obviously have over powered me and gave it to me like i was someone their age with their strength. Overall, if someone needs talking to then it should be on the side away from everyone in a professional manner, talking angrily to anyone especially in front of people an adult to a kid is only going to make the academy look bad.
If I catch you trying to Scissor take down someone. It’s over for you. Also it would have been impossible to see the submission from the angle I saw it at. It was not great
I also can go on and on about this particular kid and all the reasons why I disagree with just about everything he does. I probably shouldn’t have yelled at a kid but I don’t believe in always being in the bigger person. Sometimes you have to get wild. This situation and other things have kinda made me feel like maybe that school isn’t my place anymore.
@Beardrolls i saw it plus he showed me. It also depends on how its done. Ive seen and im sure you have also seen a video circulating about someone in a competition getting hurt, that was a prime example of how not to do it. That kid did it how it was supposed to, hence the other person Not getting hurt. Overall, everyone has their opinions
@Beardrolls i see your point, im sure i will agree with a few things you have in mind. Well wherever ypu or anyone trains, there is success and knowledge to be acquired, only making the person to be a greater athlete
"Pato's english is even better" 😂
Haha

She’s not a first time competitor maybe on big stage but wasn’t her first time
