- Geoff Moore and Steven Curtis Chapman sing "Listen to Our Hearts" together. This is one of my all time favorite songs that is really more of a prayer than a song. This clip was recorded from CCM TV broadcast circa 1993/94 on VHS so please excuse the grainy video.
My dad and I sang this together when I was only 13. I lost him suddenly last summer. This song will always be so very special to me. ❤️
Wonderful to remember those in Christ who have passed.
Jennifer, I sang with my daughter when she was that age. She is now grown and lives in another state. But every time those songs come on I remember those times and they mean even more now so as a dad and papa I can tell you they ment so much to him also. You always had a huge part of his heart and mind.
@@jackfaltz8020 Thank you so much. You made me cry. The 3 year anniversary of his death is coming up and it just isn’t getting any easier. We were so close, and there is such a massive void that nothing and no one else can fill. By the way, my girls called him Papa.
A wonderful memory for you. God bless you.
Beautiful song to our savior ❤
Such a beautiful love song!!! Christian radio station's need to keep playing the old music as much as the new music
This has been one of my favorite worship songs almost as long as I can remember. This Memorial Day weekend, while missing my Dad (&Mom) and thinking a great deal about Heaven, was comforted finding Geoff and SCC in their early days, singing like the angels. ❤
I was a teen summer missionary in the 90's, and we always sang this song. It is still a beautiful song, and brings back precious memories for me.
Two of the best of all time : Geoff Moore and Steven Curtis Chapman. Thank you brothers for blessing me with your great gift back in the day.
This song is new to me in the last couple of days but it totally expresses how I feel and what I have said to the Holy Spirit as I have prayed.
I love this song. It is beautiful. There is no way to describe the love I have for you , Lord Jesus.
I love this song for decades and always.
One of the most beautiful Slow🐌 songs ever written
Two of my favorite artists. EVER. I absolutely LOVE this song!
My two favorites too!
Thank you and bless you for posting this inspired song by 2 very talented and Godly men. My wife and I were blessed to see them in concert in Pittsburgh. His blessed us with back stage passes so we got to meet these guys up close and personal. They are the real deal. Love this sing but forgot about it. I even used to play it on my guitar. Thanks again.
Thanks, it is a beautiful song and I too learned it on Guitar. 😊
Such a wonderful song. So simple and deep. Thank you Jesus!
Awesome song 🎵 from two awesome men of GOD . I remember going to Maria's funeral and worshipping either these men and their children. They are amazing people and so are their families.
Just caught the typo worshipping withered men and their children.
This song is such a blessing! I love the words, the guitar and the harmony...
I'm loving the guitar, Steven. Your the best. Thanks for blessing me with your music all these years. God Bless You
Someone played this song for us at our prayer meeting. I'd never heard it before. So lovely!
I'm a complete sucker for duets, and I've loved this song from way back.
Last day, I heard my brother sang this song " JUST LISTEN TO OUR HEARTS "
Me : where is my cellphone ?
UA-cam and " Lord, listen to my heart too..words can't tell how grateful I am to you.
Beautiful!!!♡ God bless you ! ♡♡
Excellent rendition beautiful
Just brings me to worship. My love song to Jesus!
This is such a great song. Simple and well written. Just another comparison of how our Heavenly Father is such a perfect listener cannot misread or misunderstand us for the better of those who are called and love him.
Love this song.
Thank so much for sharing this wonderful video. Love everything about it: the song, Geoff, Steven, and the quality of the video. Brings so many memories flooding back.
speaks the truth of my heart cox sometimes words are not enough when I reflect upon the goodness of the lord
I'm an absolute sucker for duets-- male-female, male-male, or female-female. I haven't yet heard a duet I didn't like. I wish that songs like this, so unassuming and simple, would make a comeback in contemporary christian music.
Lord..hear our hearts. Beautiful song and singers!!
Very underrated and forgotten song... Thanks for sharing!
He truly is an awesome God!
Beautiful! Such a worshipful song. Thanks for the upload.
i stood on the stage and played this and sang it ... and my used to be wife sat in the audience and looked like she was ashamed that i did that .... it broke my heart ....
That's some heavy pain.

To tell you How awesome God you are.Lord

It is a great song. First, it did not speak to me. However, it slowly made my heart so warm and my eyes so teary after listening to this song over and over. Such a great performance as they sing from their hearts to the Lord.
This a great video of Geoff Moore &Steve Curtis Chapman
So good!
Glória a Deus ! My Lord is love!
Verse 1:
How do you explain,
How do you describe,
A love that goes from east to west,
And runs and deep as it is wide'
You know all our hopes
Lord, you know all our fears
And words cannot express the love we feel
But we long for You to hear
Chorus:
So listen to our hearts (oh, Lord, please listen)
Hear our spirits sing (and hear us sing)
A song of praise that flows (a simple song of praise)
From those You have redeemed (from those You have redeemed)
We will use the words we know
To tell You what an awesome God You are
But words are not enough
To tell You of our love
So listen to our hearts
Verse 2:
If words could fall like rain
From these lips of mine
And if I had a thousand years
I would still run out of time
So if You listen to my heart
Every beat would say,
Thank You for the Life, thank You for the Truth, thank You for the Way.
LOVE THIS!!!! Thank U for listening to our hearts!!!
we tried ... we believed ... but we got overloaded by an evil world .... but we still believe ...
Amen
❤️
Beautiful
Be patient and wait for Him just as a farmer waits for the early and latter rain, Lest when He comes He find you in a state that is deserving punishment. Be strong and courageous in the Lord and in the power of His might! For it is not by the might and power of man, But by MY Spirit says the Lord God Almighty! You can do all things through Christ Jesus Who gives you strength, pray for patience my brother in Christ Jesus, He IS coming. Read 2nd Peter chapter 3.
"... please excuse the grainy video."
This is really not an issue when the audio and the Presence of God clearly communicates with our hearts' prayer during worship.
Film quality has such minor influence on good music!
Considering how today's worship video song sets are clouded by smoke machine effects, this is good quality film!
(And besides that, nobody has to struggle with the smog in order to sing!)
Such a gentle & beautiful love song for God!
Thank you for posting!
Grainy? This looks excellent, considering how old it is!! Thanks for posting.
These two guys graduated from two different universities less than 45 minutes from each other in Indiana. :)
they have been good friends for many years :)
i love this song..
Immanuel is the Truth, the Life and the Way !

(Translate to Spanish)
Verso 1:
Como se explica
¿Cómo se describe?
Un amor que va de este a oeste
Y corre y profundo como ancho '
Sabes todas nuestras esperanzas
Señor, conoces todos nuestros miedos
Y las palabras no pueden expresar el amor que sentimos
Pero anhelamos que escuches
Coro:
Así que escucha nuestros corazones (oh, Señor, por favor escucha)
Escucha a nuestros espíritus cantar (y escúchanos cantar)
Entonces escucha nuestros corazones
SCC is the best guitar player
Can someone point me to the correct original tuning he's using for that?
Late to the party here, but original is down 1/2 step to Gb.
Jesus calls
Did they pilfer Extreme's 'More than Words' on purpose?
