We arr sorry about Caitlyn's grandmother passing.....may comfort surround your family. Kory, trust you will be eating pain free very soon as you heal! HPHS staff is the best team! Happy Anniversary to Jason and Tawnee! ❄️☃️❄️
“Death leaves a heartache no one
can heal.
Love leaves us memories no one
can steal.”
Deepest sympathy to Caitlin and the whole family on their profound loss.
Thanks for finding time with reduced crew to share sweet HPHS animal updates and the interesting weather preparations. Please stay safe & warm, all y’all. 🤍
Idea suggestion that i think viewers would like seeing: When they get adopted out, next to their adoption photo on screen put the 'before' pic of when they were rescued ^^ So that its a sweet before and after
They were posting before and after pictures as equines of the day on Facebook but I guess they stopped since the afters looked worse than or the same as the befores.
Really? Why?????
@@ricklaurelnovotny4829 They don’t seem to have a good feeding or refeeding regime
@@Imthewalkingbreadoh come on. I don’t know anything about horses and even I can see they fatten up while in HP care
Great job by the skeleton staff, y'all got a lot of work done. Great that Dr. Lydia and the new vet are there full time now. Condolences to Caitlyn at the passing of her grandmother. Happy Anniversary to Tawnee and Jason. Hoping Kory's wisdom extractions heal quickly.
Excellent planning for the inclement weather! Condolences to Caitlyn and I hope Cory feels better soon. It is WONDERFUL that you have two (TWO!!!) on site vets. Tawny and Jason - enjoy your anniversary. Great job everyone and thank you for yet another invaluable episode.
Happy anniversary to Tawnee and her husband Jason. I'm so sorry for Caitlyn's grandmother passing. I'm so happy that the two vets that are permanently staying at the Horse Shelter Heroes.
I’m so glad fiesta is doing so much better after her really scary injury she had. She’s an absolutely beautiful mayor and you guys did such a great job getting her back into health.
Prayers of comfort for Caitlyn. Prayers of healing for Kory. CONGRATS to Jason & Tawnee on your 21st anniversary! 🥂🎉
Thank you Angela & staff for persevering through the brutal weather to care for all the babies at HPHS!!
You all ROCK!!! 👍👏
Much ❤️ sent from Michigan 🌊
looks like Black Beauty is doing really well!
I’m so sorry about Caitlyn’s grandmother! It’s never easy loosing a loved one. And Kory, wisdom teeth are the worst! Soon you’ll be eating everything again. Love and light to you both! ❤️❤️🕊️🕊️
If I lived closer, I would have totally volunteered to stay at the shelter to check the animals for you during that frozen rain storm. Thank you for all you do for these animals! You guys are truly saints.
so sorry for your loss katelyn
I am so sorry for Caitlyn and her family for their loss! And I hope Kory heals up nice really quickly. It’s so nice now there are two full time vets at Horse Plus! To me it’s still a miracle Fiesta is healing up as good as she does. She definitely received very, very good care!
So sorry to hear the bad new about Catlin's grandmother. Prayers for her and her family.God Bless you all.
I had all of my wisdom teeth removed when I was 17. I looked like a chipmunk. I didn't have enough room in my mouth, they had to go. Feel better soon.❤
Sending prayer of comfort to Caitlyn. I am so happy to see that Fiesta is doing so great. Wisdom teeth are really no fun. Hope that Cory can eat normally soon. Everybody did a fantastic job in these crazy weather conditions. Also good to see that you have the capacities to get everyone inside if absolutely necessary.
Kory, sorry about your wisdom teeth, that’s never easy to deal with.
Welcome Dr Gina and Dr Lydia!!!! So excited that you’re both on staff full time!!
The puppies are SOOOO CUTE! They’re in the best hands for all their care!!
Happy 21st Wedding Anniversary Jason and Tawnee!!!
Caitlyn, I’m so deeply sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences.
It’s good seeing Fiesta back up on her feet.
Thanks for all your hard work Horse Plus staff!! 💛
Stay safe and warm.
So sorry for your loss Caitlin!! Sending prayers for comfort in your time of grief. 🙏. Hope you feel better soon Kory! So thankful our vets are finally here! To all of you, thank you for loving and putting the animals first. Much respect 💞
Great episode! Caitlyn I’m sorry your grandmother passed. 😢 But those were some pretty good replacement secretary y’all had there! Welcome back Dr Lydia and it’s so great to see you Dr Gina!!
Congratulations to Jason and Tawnee on their anniversary, and also on their great timing! What a perfect time to be out of town. Welcome to Dr. Lydia and Dr. Gina. Everyone, including all of us on the other side of the video screens, are thrilled that you are both at Horse Plus full time now. I'm looking forward to some really interesting surgeries and treatments. I hope everyone got home safe. Having grown up in New England, I'm no stranger to cold, snowy winters. And when there's ice on the roads, home is the best place to be.
Great episode! Good to see storm prep. Sincere condolences to Caitlyn.
Oh I feel so sorry for you all dealing with this cold snap. I'm in Australia and been dealing with cyclonic weather and totally cut off from my nearest town, but I'm not cold, have plenty of food stored, and praise God for telephone and Internet.
Thank you all for the compassion you have for the animals big and small.
Caitlyn I ask God to turn your grieving heart into the remembering all the fun loving times you shared during her lifetime with you all.
Kory I feel for you with the wisdom teeth issue, not fun by any means.
John thank goodness you have the chickens to help you along in the media room.
Congratulations to you both Tawnee and Jason, that smile was so infectious about getting away from the cold, Tawnee. ❤
I am over the moon to welcome Dr Gina and Dr Lydia to the staff.
I hope all of you stay safe and warm and also your beloved furkids. ❤
My deepest sympathy to Caitlin. Its hard to loose someone you love. You are all doing such a good job. Snow and rain and minustemperatur is not the best. But as a Norwegian I dont mind. we have had down to -33*C here in Norway. So glad to see Dr Lydia and Dr Gina at work. They are so welcome. Enjoy your weekend now. Greetings from a snowy Kongsvinger/Norway.
Here in Australia we tattoo all dogs and Cats that have been desexed inside their ear, just around the floppy inside bit there is a circle of dots if it’s been done xoxoxo love to see you are all keeping as warm as you can , plus so appreciative to see two vets on board xoxoxo
Thank you for keeping the content flowing John!
What an amazing team!!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Tawny and Jason!
So so very sorry for your loss Caitlyn and Kory.
Great Work, John----and ALL of the bare bones crew who could make it in to work during the Cold Snap!
Will look forward to watching it tomorrow morning with my first cup a tea of the day. 🇬🇧
Kaitlin, I have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers 🙏 🫂
Oh my sweet Fiesta i love her so much
It’s a comfort to see how well all of you do your job so well and thoroughly and advise your audience. Glad you brought the animals in for the cold snap. Hope you all were safe and warm. I am A year around Michigan born resident. You covered all the winter challenges.
FYI When dealing with colder temperatures, changing your socks and having dry gloves to switch out when you go in and out of the buildings on breaks
can make a considerably big benefit. Scarves are also good and put your hoods up guys.
Also a set of silky thin thermal layer.❤😊
Lol cory good throw
You can keep the snow we are losing ours
So sorry for your loss Caitlin, rest in peace dear Caitlyn Grandma🙏🙏 you are all doing such a cood job.Kory I hope you got well in the last 2 weeks!, Stay strong all and help this poor animals!! Grating from south of Germany, wished I could stay with you and help personally!
I have to say I wish more of the horses had shelters. I'm glad to see they brought them all in for this storm. When I got my first horse, the stable I got him from had us sign a contract that said we would provide him with adequate shelter. I've always taken that to heart and everyone of my horses have had a minimum of a 3 sided shelter and blankets if needed. We get brutal winds and the horses need that extra protection here to be able to get away from the sand and cold.
Wishing you well Corey! Congratulations and Welcome Vets! Wahoo. The things we will learn! Wahoo.
Best not to ask somebody holding a snowball if they're good at throwing them! 😂
😁😂
Cool horse 😎
Speaking as a Canadian - freezing rain is worse than blizzards!
Speaking as a Chicagoan, I totally agree. Black ice on roads kills people. Ice on power lines weighs them down and they can snap, leaving people without power to heat their homes. Not to mention that crap is so hard to walk ob
You can really see the Akhal Teke in Black Beauty - all that shine!
He’s a saddlebred
I wish they were longer
So very sorry to hear about Caitlyn's Grandmother's passing...Hugs and prayers to her family...
Hope my horses are staying warm and other animals ❤❤
Lol!!! They would sure brighten my spirits.
Skeleton crew did it a I know it not easy 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wow! That is cooooolllldddd! Im here in Cape Town, South Africa, where it has been tooooooo hottttt this week. So the dichotomy of the climates between us, is huge. So good to see Drs Lydia and Gina and the pups and mums getting fed. Fiesta has every right to be a bit sassy. She is such a brave girl. Well done, all of you, coping so well with the environmental challenges and curved balls thrown at you and taking SUCH good care of those babies. Take care. Keep and stay toasty. Thank you John for bringing us the news.
So glad that Fiesta is recovering well. She reminds me of our mare, Panda.
Happy Anniversary so sorry for Caitlyns loss
Welcome Dr. Gina!
Lovely to see the vets again . Welcome ❤
I know you did a great job with making sure your animals are safe from the cold, snow and ice rain. My question is…Are there still Horses in the quarantine area (10 acres)? And if yes where they sheltered too? A lot of the horses in the quarantine area are usually not in best condition or older.
Happy 21st Anni, Tawnee and Jason. Sympathies to Caitlin on the passing of her Gran x
❤❤ sorry to hear about Caitlyn's grandmother.
Congratulations on your 21st wedding anniversary and enjoy your vacation and getting out of the freaking cold and good luck to the team
In Australia when our pets are desexed, they get a tattoo in their ear
I feel for you Kory.
Cory, put something over your mouth and keep the cold out of those extraction sites!
Too much heavy weather! Great support team. You should be proud ! !
Thank you for sharing.🐴
If everybody goes home, who is there there to watch horses in case of emergency?
Even though the rescue seems quiet a lot of things going on. Sending my prayer to Catilyn & Kory. May God comfort you during this difficult time. So, happy to see the vets at HPHS. Happy Anniversary to Tawnee & Jason Love you all. ❤ Everybody stay safe driving home & stay warm. I have seen some neat warmings vest advertised on utube. You all might want to check into that. I live in a cold place too.
Thanks for the video and all the hard work, Tawnee you could have tried a little bit to lose that grin at being able to leave the cold weather 🤣🤣 Happy Anniversary Tawnee and Jason!
So glad you got all the animals under shelter. Did you get the ones in quarantine into a barn also as no one mentioned those horses.
Was wondering that myself. They showed everyone else get shelter but the quarantine horses were shown outside after the freezing rain while everyone else was still inside the arenas and training barn. I hope they weren’t left to fend for themselves
@@user-gl4vk6vt3s they dont need blakets
Stay safe everyone..kisses to Glimmer ❤
There is nothing on this earth as life-affirming as a pile of puppies. Sounds like you had some interesting weather, glad there was room to get all the critters into shelter & plenty of time for everyone to get home & have a warm & cozy weekend. Tawnee & Jason were so funny, they just could not keep the smug smiles off their faces as they headed for a nice warm vacation to celebrate---Happy Anniversary!!
"look at all that snow" in my mind ...look at all those chickens
I'm going to have to agree with someone on another video, I'm really disliking the WWE/monster truck style of intro.
Yep, totally out of context and just weird.
Same. It’s so annoying and I just skip right through it.
It reminds me of pit bull and parolees. I loved that show when it was out.
Not enjoying it either.
Same. I miss the old intro.
Happy Anniversary Jason and Tawnee!!!
just allow to drink pure whiskey before night after brushing - or salt water - boiling - rinse only - will pull infection out - and deep clean the wounds
Lol keith
Can't wait for tonight's episode. 😊❤
I like want you guys do for the horse 🐎 Nanette
All looking good - all the gang and horses 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
So glad there are two full time vets now! Skeleton staff did a really good job taking care of everything. I'm sorry to hear about Caitlyns Grandmother, sending love. I've always heard wisdom teeth can be rough but to find out two of them were infected sounds like a really shitty situation!
Sorrow sorry lose for Catline family
We celebrated our 21st anniversary jan11th congrats Jason and tawnee and many more God bless
So looking forward to this episode, love it.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
John how's the new rooster?
Stay warm, from Canada.
I used to wonder why they mark boys after a neuter, until i adopted my first cripped orchid. The rescue thought he was neutered, as he was over 2 years and did not have testicles. With compilation caused by his testicles i almost lost him. Surgery and hospital time was very expensive. This ended up being really hard on him.
I wish someone would reply to the good questions in the comments. I’m usually pretty interested in hearing the answers, too. And obviously ignore the dumb questions. Whoever said there is no stupid question never read youtube comments
I donated 11 horse blankets and don't see any horse wearing one.
Whoever had half melted snow on their back definitely needed one 😢
@@user-gl4vk6vt3s I think it’s one of the residents. The gray Arabians were removed from the adoption site and haven’t been seen in a few weeks. If it’s Gray he’s lost a lot of weight since the summer
The curls are gone.
Good job chickens
Why does everyone hate winter? It is my favorite time; I am so glad we finally got snow. Cold without snow is not the best. But I’ll take cold over heat any day.
Me too!!!
Snow is more dangerous. Shorter days more isolation. Mental health suffers in the winter. Also animals like the puppies and their mom's are more at risk. The pups are young and the moms are seriously underweight and wouldn't have an easy time keeping their body temperature up if they weren't in the heated part of the vet barn. It also has frostbite risk. Yeah winter is great but it also has problems unique to winter.
@daemonember Warm weather has it's issues as well. 😊
Lots of people slip and break bones in winter. Snow is lovely, ice is dangerous.
@@devydraper4166theres issues 12 months a year you cant just cut depression off BUT... over 65% of suicides actually happen over the winter months..proven fact telling me...dark winters are a whole lot worse
Congratulations to the both of you on your 21st wedding anniversary
At least the two new vets will be on site over the cold weekend.
Happy Anniversary Tawnee & Jason
17 inches of snow here in Indiana. Y'all are spoiled. XD
Excited 🥰
Does anybody stay over in the visitor squarters when the weather is bad in case of accident or emergency? Does someone take the dogs and puppies home with them? I'd be worried in case something happened to one of the horses with nobody around to check on them. If I lived anywhere near you I'd have volunteered but seeing as I'm in Australia the commute is a little difficult . 😁 I hope that all of you, humans and animals stay safe, well and warm in the cold.🥰🦘🦘🦘
I wonder why some of your barns seem to be unlined?( Looks that way). Wood lining can prevent a ton of injury!
Hah. We got 2 feet of snow this week in upstate NY.
I wonder if a infrared heat light would help the horses
Oh shoot, guess you can’t tell us where your going!! Happy Anniversary!
Puppies are adorable but older than four weeks! At least 5-6
Wow! You have more snow than we do in ND!
Enjoy have fun
Congrats on your 21st, have fun.
Its called Winter. It happens every year. You are lucky you didnt get a ton of snow 😊. Who stays at the rescue after everybody takes off for home ? Be careful out there y'all. Stay warm. ❤
I think at least one person lives in a house on site.
Happy anniversary to you both 🥳🎉
Who takes care of the few permanent horses that are off-site? I remember there being a blind horse
