right on laddie, there were two connemara ponies on a horse farm where i grew up in north florida, i loved them and will never forget how easy they were for me to take out for a ride, always wanted to know more about them, nice video's you make, regards
Is a pony a horse, No a pony is a pony and a horse is a horse, they are both the same but yet very different in many other ways, My dear departed father was a Connemara and pony man and often told me that to ride a Connemara hone coming down a hill or running across bad lands with rocks, stone, gaps and rabbit holes all over the place, the pony would pick its way and not stumble or put its leg into a hole, it would pick out the safe ground to walk or galop over and Yes Ponies & Horses come from the same family yet are very different animals in many ways. Connemara boys and men ride their ponies bareback just like their dear next-door neighbors, their cousins Native Red Indians in the Americans Alaska, Oklahoma, New Mexico, South Dakota, Montana, and North Dakota including Red Cloud
That's a lovely glimpse of Ireland in 1971. Thanks for that.
