Do you have any opinions on the new master-death mode boss reworks, I tried a play through and I just had to change it to master revengeance because of how bad it was (I took 49 tries on Skeletron and was unable to beat him, yet I did it first try on revengeance. For comparison death mode Scal only took me about 10 attempts). I personally think it’s super unbalanced and should be reworked again, because for some reason the Hive Mind is easier than both KS and EoC, even with pre-boss gear.
Seeing how someone can completely master something. Seeing someone have complete control over their character, perfectly dodging every attack. It’s really inspiring.
On a raw bullet hell scale this doesn't look that bad if you have experience with this stuff but nonetheless still impressive considering terraria can be janky at times with movement and such
I will be honest, the amount of telegraphed attacks in modern mods is tiring me out. Just, now it is as mechanical as "avoid staying in lines during a short moment whe projectile passes through them/after it has disappeared", and not actually learning the patterns. I will admit that it's a lot of whining from someone who has skill issue, that being me, but still

This seems a lot more focused on looking hard than actually being hard. Shooting a massive circle of projectiles in every direction looks tough, but 95% of those projectiles will never end up anywhere near you.
Possible origins of some of the boss attacks: Scythe projectiles - Abominationn Duke Fishron Summon - Mutant Buster Sword Chase - Abominationn + Cloud Strife Lightsaber Spin - General Grievous
The origins of Cata's attacks are various facts about him lol - Scythe attacks are because one of his favorite mage weapons is the demon scythe - The Fishron attacks are a reference to the time he no-hit Eternity Mode Duke and used Slime Mount for his last phase -The Buster sword attacks are a reference to him owning an IRL replica of it - the ice attacks are a reference to Cold Divinity (Now called Glacial Embrace) because it was one of his favorite Calamity weapons
Nope, The attacks has zero relation to other bosses, They're all connected to myself. Like preferred weapon being the Demon Scythe for Pre-HM, Breaker blade or Buster Sword from FF7 as the sword references is because I have a replica blade, Favourite mount, The Fishron thing is because I like to bounce on bosses heads with the mount but one time I triple bounced on a dashing DF by accident. Ice shards for the Cold Divinity being a favourite Cal weapon of mine. Sky Deathray is for a weapon from the Polarities mod dropped by Sun Pixie if you no-hit it. Moths cos.......Obviously... Shield of Cthuhlu because I adore dashing into things to nullify their attack (Also a fun fact, If you dash into the boss with the SoC, It has its own sound to say you did it right, Timing is hard)
