HOW TO DISCIPLE YOUR SIBLINGS AND RELATIVES
John 7:5 specifies that even Christ's brothers didn't believe him. And so christ also talks about the fact that a prophet having honor except his household.
The people who saw more of the human side of you will naturally find it difficult to take you seriously.
How do you help them?
1. Take them to special programs in your church as part of the ways to draw them close.
2. We should try to answer the pertinent questions they have in their hearts or sending sermons that answers specific questions as well.
3. Be a good example, your actions will speak/preach better, if your actions are contrary to your words, you will not be taken seriously.
4. Be patient; in dealing with your family, don't expect to just get them saved in a minute. Most times, it's always a gradual process. Just keep on trying, keep at it!

I am putting this out here for those of us who are getting weary, strive!
I have been able to use so many practical teachings from 100DOD in the past 45 days.
On Saturday, I went for evangelism and one person I spoke with talked about depression. I was so glad to have something to say to him because through out last week we learnt how to handle pain.
When I was done, I could see his face lit up. He told me He was glad he was playing WHOT games on the street that day and I met him.
Every teaching here has blessed me tremendously.
Today isn’t an exception too.
By being a good example, you definitely would make it easy for your relatives to believe in Christ. Just like Pastey said, show up for them in natural things too! Let them know you care about them generally.

One thing stood out for me; that's to be patient with them and not stop trying. Don't just care about their prayer life, care for them sincerely.
I remember one of the shorts that I watched by Pastey and he said if you are not serious with your academics in school, you are a fraud. 😂😂
I had exams the next day and just wanted to sleep, I couldn't 😭😂😂. I took it upon myself to go to a friend's place to read that night and thank God for direction 🙇🙇🥰.

Being a good example is so important because its going to be difficult to teach people if your daily life doesn’t reflect the faith you profess
The point on patience in evangelism blessed me. We have understand that people grow at different rates, and stick with them through their growth.

As a side note, I must say thay Apostle is a proof that discipline works. Building the tenacity to show up, even when something becomes very hard, and even when you have legit excuses to not show up.
