I used to like her, but I can't bare her anymore. She's in a phase in her career in which she thinks that weird is cool, and she wants to do the whatever weirdest thing to show off, so I'll pass until she gets serious again. "Maniac" was a torture to watch it all.

I'm afraid it's gonna be even worse than that. Lanthimos' films are beyond boring, they're torture.
Movies feel quite bland these days, even the ones with the big actors.
We live sad times for good artistic cinema. People who praise crap like this are 20-30 years old hipster-likes, who have never seen good old cinema in their lives, like Antonioni, Truffaut, Lelouch, Resnais, Tarkovsky (I bet most of them here don't even know these names), etc., etc.. Comparing to those masterpieces, this here is feces. Pity for the good actors in it. I don't care about Stone, but especially for Dafoe who has a big history in movies, so sad. But they don't have many choices anymore. If Bergman was alive today and asked Dafoe to play in one of his films at the same time Lanthimos did, what do you think he would prefer? He wouldn't even think about it for a second.

It doesn't matter. It looks weird as f**k, and people get excited with crap like this. Welcome to 2020's cinema.
A pregnant woman dies. A mad scientist resurrects her by replacing her destroyed brain with that of her fetus, essentially creating a whole new blank-slate person. She gets in a whirlwind romance with a lawyer and they travel the world while she learns at an accelerated rate and chafes against the expectations of her times.
