This isn’t something I was expecting for you to cough up. Shame I didn’t film it in time, but we still have #90550. This would’ve been sick as a spare, I’d love to see these 22m3 trucks have a go at recycling and vice-versa. Is there a chance this truck did Bundoora North (A), in its time? I’ve seen a video of it doing greens there. I dig that double Garbo clip at the end, with #90292 obviously being the leader of the pack. Mad video.
When things really were desperate they’d end up on recycle like when a recycle truck was down or needed a chop etc. Probably was there doing chop out, it does Greensborough fri A. But things do get moved around sometimes due to different circumstances
Genvfan 625 imagine the work it would take, take a look at the bus fleetlists! Hell load of work and record-keeping required. In relation to Banyule, will be interested to see those 140L’s be rolled out, if the trial succeeds that is, and seeing the collections of said 140L’s.
Sad this truck isn't a thing anymore. Been a fan of these trucks since the start of an era of the last MJ GenVs in Banyule. I wonder where #90549 is now, hope somewhere in Victoria! When did the truck start having its revs off? And yes i remember ur post of this truck on instagram a while back. That double garbo of #90549 (Now #90834) and #90292 really epic. Cannot believe these are the last trucks that were made by MJ, now Bucher handles everything. I instantly know who that driver was, been on Mr Southerngarbo's channel b4 as well. How long have u had this driver for greens for? The truck sound nicer with its revs off ngl, even though revs off may sound stupid some sound pretty good without the rev. Now Banyule has a new logo and a new design brief going from, "Avoid waste today" to "Towards zero waste" Tbh the old signage looks way nicer than the new one, the new one is okay but it doesn't beat the old ones. For how much longer will the older MJ stuff stay in Banyule for? Reckon a fair few may stay but might be wrong tho
Most don’t rev as it is quieter and usually the arm is faster/smoother, since like 2019 my driver stopped using the revs. Had him as long as I can remember lol, yeah a lot have videoed him and his truck. Banyule keep the one with least miles on the clock as a spare for a few years, they keep getting gradually replaced dependent on their miles and how good condition they are in till they is one then none left. I reckon you have a while to get most left as a lot of things are different now like more waste bc of Covid or the trial of the 140 bin and FOGO so they’ll stay for a while. Most are assisting as spares or extras too as the new Euro 6s are having teething problems or as I said before they is just a shit tonne more waste now due to certain circumstances. When it comes to the last one tho like #90292 was start acting quick, but you’ve got a while till then
@@genvfan6257 Ah looks like i still have time to find all the old accos still, still targeting to film #90550 and #90464, yeah i might go recycle week first as its Gen6 and GenVs doing the recycling, i can consider greens but i think its too repetive if its greens. Ah they r trialing 140s and FOGO now? Totally forgot about that, seen too many videos of the trials in Jack Garbo's channel, i think that was #90547 doing that. Of course the Euro 6s have to have teething problems, they r new, right? About the revs, many are switched off, but all ik that #90832 is the only Euro 6 that ik by far that has its revs on. Idk about 90836 tho it might? Oh a few years they keep the older stock? That's a good thing, Darebin does the same but they renumber the trucks to #563 i think, like the old #565 and #520 when its time to. Do u know anything about #90548's replacement? Or has it gotten a replacement already?
@@thiessgarbo2006 #90548’s crash in Bulla was too severe would of been a write off, it was a spare truck and was part of the old fleet as a garbage truck and was deemed to be replaced anyway. So no replacement will be needed for it I reckon.
For Garbage (tridents black body red lid) because of the new changed frequencies (Fogo greens weekly, garbage changed to fortnightly with recycle) council have generously done this as they believe the current setting won’t be enough to cope with fortnightly garbage. 80L and 120L will always still be an option and you’ll probably get charged less for choosing them. It also doubles as an excuse to replace the old bins which are totally capable of still working but makes council feel better overhauling everything.

Loved this bro, the banyule trucks are very good, I wanna go there but it’s a bit too far for me. Keep up the amazing work mate🔥👍👏🤙

Maybe you can start one 😉 Sure am too, much prefer over the newer stuff this is way more fun.
