Sandra Bullock is a master at Chaplin style humor ie someone trying to maintain their dignity when circumstances just won’t let them, isn’t she?
I love rom coms and this is probably the best as it starred my favorites - Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. They had a great chemistry and both have the abilities to carry the comic timings and approach.

I have worked in organizations where leaders (male) have dated and married their subordinates. I can name 3 specific instances.
this is specifically addressed in the movie because Andrew is actually competent and only being held back because Margaret knows his replacement wouldn't be a good enough assistant. and their company has a lot of male superiors who married incompetent assistants.
There are rules for “replaceable” staff an d rules for “critical” staff. It’s BS but a fact.
