Angel Gabriel😇 is the most beautiful. Honestly as an American I feel like his accent helps make the song even more beautiful 🥰 and I don't know if anyone has actually told you this, but English is not Gabriel's second language. Gabriel does not even speak English. He only speaks Portuguese. He might understand some English words or know some English words through singing and listening to the English songs, but I truly don't believe he can hold an English conversation. He has learned everything on his own. He is so beautiful and he inspires so many.

I love Gabriel’s voice in everything that he does but the one thing that he has, that I do imagine is difficult to coach (not an expert), is his emotion and the way a song looks to be making him feel, and therefore making me feel. That is coming off 💯 authentic to me and I can count on one hand the number of singers that are capable of doing that, at least for me. And I am 54 and have seen a lot of music. And I did mean seen in that sentence. It is the very thing that sets him apart for me and I listen to him sing anything because of it, in English or in Spanish (having no idea what he is saying.) I believe him, every time. 💗
If you have not listened to "O Extradinario" or "Nada alem da ti" ...add those to your emotional journey. You'll need a seatbelt, kleenex and a Thesaurus!!! Enjoy

Hello Friend! In fact, English isn't even Gabriel's second language. He doesn't really speak English, he just memorizes the lyrics of the songs he sings. The fact is that what you saw is already much better than in previous covers, which shows that he has applied himself to improve.
I am so impressed with how Ganriel pays close attention to his diction. It's obvious he is trying hard to say the words properly and he manages to sing, to soar, at the same time!! Amazing

Hi Mauro.... I do not agree in full about the memorizing dynamics wich you mentioned. He shows some emotions on some parts along the singing , wich means he does understand what he is singing. That does not mean he speaks the language , but he studied the lyrics and do in infact knows what he is doing. It is a different concept than memorizing, wich is sort of saying a few words like "thank you" and "hello" in a foreign language etc. It is true that english is not his second language, and that deduction is acctualy given by the coaches and other viewers, wich is understandable, since the english speaking communities are very much used to bands and singers from around the world singing in english. A-Ha , ABBA etc

Gabriel cannot do the lower register, lower notes like Dimash can. Dimash does not do a lot of whistle notes like Gabriel can though. They will always be my favorite singers in the world.

Yea! This is our angel Gabriel Henrique. His voice is just Amazing and Unique! 👏🏾 👏🏼 👏🏾 A small but very important detail: for us Brazilians (no, we don't speak Spanish, but Portuguese and these are two beautiful sister languages), English is an inaccessible language for most of the population, extremely poor. Even those who study languages and learn English know that the biggest difficulty to us is pronunciation, for sure. But, just like singing, it is by practicing that we reach perfection!

Hi there, Peter! First of all, thanks for listening to Gabriel and I'm looking forward to more videos with brazillian singers in your channel. I love that you are honest at your reactions. I get it when you say that he could improve his pronunciation and even his English - it would help him to get even more flluid in his singing I guess, ease his breathing and also help him to connect even more with the songs through the lyrics - but in Brazil it's really not that easy to access proper education for the greater part of its people, let alone learn English... That being said I couldn't miss the opportunity to say that no, our rainforests are not fine and it's great that you have pointed it out before. You have to understand that we're right now in Brazil living a polarized political life and many of those who support our currrent president believe that it's ok to deforest - or are simply in denial. And some territorial people forget that we all share the same planet and those lines they see on geopolitical maps are only men's doing and every human being should be concearned to what happens to Earth. Be safe and keep on the good work!

You're absolutely correct about his pronunciations (and enunciations as well) of certain words. However, his English has improved over the years, but if he had an English speaking teacher to help him improve speaking and singing in English he would be so much further ahead. You're right about that as well.
Thanks to UA-cam for recommending Gabriel Henrique, otherwise I may never had heard of him. Since having heard of him he has become one of my favorite male Pop singers if all time.

I believe what stands out the most about Gabriel is the amazing control he has over his voice. He reminds me of the late great Minnie Ripperton from the mid 1970s. She was the queen of the whistle notes. None of the singers today could hold a candle to her. If you get the chance check out Minnie's song "Loving you." Minnie, like Gabriel maintained vocal technique while singing in the whistle register. What I mean by that is Minnie and Gabriel do not just hold a straight line note they hit different pitches, use vibrato and even sing lyrics while whistling. Gabriel showed us in this performance he can even belt in the whistle register. Gabriel covers Whitney Huston's song "One Moment in Time" where he showcases his vocal technique while whistling.

Hello, I loved your informative reaction from the Sunshine State of Florida. Perhaps it is because I live in a bilingual state, but I actually like the Latin flavor in his accent. I am also aware of the music industry preference for a certain standard pronunciation of English. I too like his accent. I always wonder, when people seek to have him sing without his accent, what exactly are they looking for? A southern accent? British? New York? As a big Mariah fan, i know she continues to use her whistle register in recent years and used it quite a bit in her 2019 Caution tour. Also, side note, she released “I Want To Know What Love Is” in 2009, nineteen years into her career.
