Quinn from Freeze The Fall met The Warning at a meet and greet on this tour. The lineup was her and one other person. She had them sign her Jackson guitar. You can see that in the original live video for Daughters Of Witches. In October of this year, all of the band met TW again, and handed over copies of their ep. A manager/manager meeting happened to discuss possible opening slot possibilities.
Thanks Glenn...loved this interview (had not seen this one), regardless, these girls are always a joy to listen to, so honest and sincere, like you best friend you have know forever. Love that you are finding so many very interesting BTS vids like this. These 2 guys doing the interview were great. Appreciate it. Cheers.
INFO ON INTERVIEWS YOU OUGHTA KNOW : Glenn, there are a couple in depth interviews done by JAVIER PANIAGUA individually of PAU AND DANY that are probably the best with regard to personal insight of them that are out there. They are long but he has made playlists breaking the interviews up into shorter clips of separate questions. There's information that you probably have not heard before from them, such as PAU talking about her receiving therapy from a psychologist and her use of crying as well as DANY talking about how some fans think her father is the only reason they are successful because of his money and connections. The interviews are in Spanish but have closed captions available in English.
Wow thats some crazy stuff Ive watched just about everything that has been posted about TW ,wonder how I never heard about that stuff about Dany and Pau and the stuff about Luis before ?
those are the ones i offered to translate, since the captions are terrible. Pau and Dany solo but also the one with Rudy is definitely worth watching, i think.
@@PaulSinkTo be clear, Luis is neither rich or connected, but there are haters who are always commenting that he is and that that is why they have had so many opportunities in the music industry. I just wanted to make that clear. Dany finds it laughable that these people believe such nonsense.
Thanks, Glenn. This was a good interview. A curious fact is that in general people from Monterrey consider "cabrito" as a characteristic dish of their city, but it is really a traditional dish of Spain and is also traditionally consumed in Portugal and Italy, mainly.
This was like a day or so before they came down with the flu. The weather/climate/altitude of Monterrey is very similar to Las Vegas, where rarely does it get below freezing. So, I'm sure it is quite an adjustment for them to be in Canada in the winter.
We have been to minus 5 to 15 right now. Im an hour from the U S border above Montana. I tried to see them in Calgary at the Grey Eagle. Also tried to see them in Calgary atvthe Saddledome but my hotel plan fell through
Epica has incl. sax on their latest releases. I remember Gerry Raferty and obviously Supertramp. Like the idea of Dany (and/or Ale) swinging the sax around with a windmill blowing their hair around while they deliver a killer sax solo - that would be fun :o)
They never give a bad interview.........if the interviewer is worth a nickel. The girls are so entertaining, you just need to "Let them be themselves!" Glenn, you would be perfect. Your questions would pick their brains in such a good way!
i always laugh when Dany shows us (at @2:27 here and @2:01 in the original) that this was shot with a green screen... i don't know how many times i saw this interview before i noticed it 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
One of my favorite The Warning interviews. (Ok, maybe I have a problem? 😂 a list of favorite INTERVIEWS? Yup, & I’m totally OK with my The Warning addiction😊. Just ordered my TW “greedy little f🎁cker” ugly Christmas sweater … & tee shirt in case I get warm🤣) these guys did their homework, covered the origin story in a completely unique way & covered completely different ground than all the typical interviewers.
This has still got to be one of my favorite interviews. 3 Mexican sisters meet two stereotypical boneheaded Canucks. The guys were awesome, and well, the girls are always the girls....:) I can say that, having lived in northern BC for 30 years. Most Canadians (especially in the north) make you feel right at home. Edmonton is basically the end of civilization in Alberta. North of there is pretty much nothing. And Grande Prairie can be one of the most uninhabitable, weather wise, places in Canada. It's typically -30 for weeks and worse at a times, with horrendous winds in winter. I think that's when Ale was ill and they might have skipped playing in Grande Prairie, which was probably a good thing that time of year. Thanks for bringing up these moments in time for TW. PS: C is do!....that's what i learned too. Edit: It's because the C major scale uses all white keys with no sharps/flats.
The Queens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@glennandadriansrocktalk their sound engineer Lalo Plaza did an interview with a podcaster and he talked about their first Canada tour and that they were not prepared for the cold weather, the isolation due to not being able to go outside due to the weather and on top of the getting sick. Very interesting interview, he did two interviews, unfortunately they are not in Spanish . I think I might have left a comment to turn on the close captions. I will look it up and see if he did. Luckily for us and them the band did not break up. Now they know how to tour Canada. Plus on this tour the weather was more cooperative.
Rank this interview right up there with the Allison Hagendorf two, really a fun time. Ive watched this at last 4 or 5 times .

Excellent my friend... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They look like they have so much fun on tour
I think this is still one of their best interviews. The guys were great.
Perhaps the main reason I follow The Warning. They are just delightful persons as much as talented entertainers.

"like you best friend you have know forever" WELL SAID!!!!!!!!
Great seeing two great Canadian interviews in the same week! Always pleasant to be able to hear them get to answer questions uninterrupted.

I love this interview. The guys are so Canadian (me, too). Grande Prairie is where I experienced the lowest temperatures of my mis-spent youth, -60.
Thanks, Glenn. This was a good interview.

This interview is available in audio podcast form. I recommend listening to it in the car. Pau's voice is ASMR for real.

God gave rock n roll to us in on UA-cam. Their first performance together, but with other classmates
Oh yeah... Canada gets insanely cold. lol Been there a couple times during cold seasons.

think the grand purry show was one of the canceled ones as Pau got ill in Edmonton
In my experience studying music in Canada, nobody ever ever mentioned Do-Re-Mi ... maybe in kindergarten?
Always just notes and names of the keys
Rest of the world uses Do-re-mi

there is a documentery from there time in Berkley if you havent seen it
We have! In our playlist for Liceo, it's in there
Is this interview from their first Canada tour? On their first Canada tour the band almost broke apart.
Never heard anything about that… do you have more details?

@@glennandadriansrocktalk Did you get the info on the Gero Gonzales channel I sent you? About the Lalo Plaza interviews?
Yes, I have it! thx
@@glennandadriansrocktalk Good, I hope that you can understand with the bad You Tube translation.
Zero degrees Celcius or 32 degrees F.
I should have clarified - they were talking 0 celsius for Monterrey, but 0 Fahrenheit was the temperature in Grand Prairie in November :)
@@glennandadriansrocktalk -10 below F is not unusual in November.
-40f = -40C
0C or 32F is tshirt temp in N Canada....:)
@@glennandadriansrocktalk Canada and Mexico both use Celcius. I would strongly expect them to be referring to 0 C rather than F.
Grande Prairie is NOT pretty. It's mostly an oil patch town. People are there for money, not scenery and recreational activities.
