Hey! I wanted to come back and really thank those who took the time to educate others here. I’ve since done research (at home) and speaking with a few friends. I’m glad to know more. I just share my real life experiences and questions. My stories and my ignorance. I know A LOT of things. But fansly and futa were not in my repertoire of words. I think the only thing I’ve knowingly had an idea about was “Ara Ara” because I’ve seen a few streams where people have used it but I had no idea of the situational usage or translation. Regardless, thanks for coming in and laughing with me. It’s been embarrassing but also mind blowing to have UA-cam visit me over on Twitch. ❤
It's always nice to see fresh "educational content", but in streaming chat is as much your teacher as student. Never underestimate the knowledge of the closest equivalent to a hive-mind we humans can experience.

I'm seeing that too. I am quite curious as to how they're going about it these days. Sometimes think I could have quite a lot of fun with a well-rigged model myself but...I just can't find the focus or patience to learn the programs.
I don’t remember who said it (I think it was GirlDM) but they said vtubing is like puppetry. Real people don’t move their heads/mouths/eyes that much IRL, so if you talk like normal you’ll look pretty boring. You have to exaggerate your movements to get the animated feel. It’s as much the rigging and tracking as it is the vtuber’s own skill at puppeteering their models.
I once joked to my brother that I wanted to have my youtube playlist be nonstop vtubers from the time I wake up until I go to sleep for the day. Now, a year later thanks to VIL finding & advertising Indies and clippers spreading them around, if I queue all the clips in my Subscriptions (with two or three full VODs for background noise) youtube says my Watchlist would be +600 hours long. Challenge accepted😤
