I am studying both Portuguese and Spanish and in my opinion Brazilian Portuguese sounds more feminine since it has more like.. natural tones. Fun Fact: Sometimes brazilians can't understand the portuguese of people who live in Portugal, it's the same language but with a lot of different words, like the korean of South Korea and North Korea, we can communicate in general but sometimes we got confused. For example, the word ''cool'', in Brazil is ''legal'' and in Portugal is ''giro'' but in Brazil that means ''spin''. And the way Portugal people conjugate the verbs is considered really formal and strange here in Brazil.
Fun Fact 2: Portuguese is very similar with french, spanish, galician, italian and etc etc.
ah and yeah we conjugate the verbs lol the verb changes depending of the person (I, you, they, we and etc, and we have two more, tu and vós and it's two more ways to say you) and it changes again depending if it's in the past (we have 3 differents ways to conjugate in the past), present, future + and the conjugation changes again if the time is in the indicativo, conjuntivo, imperativo. It's a lot of things to learn in school lol but i think portuguese is really beautiful, give it a try and start to learn portuguese, guys

I find it fascinating how Spanish and Portuguese can be so similar, yet not at all sometimes. Brazilian Portuguese has even more differences. I also find it interesting how Spanish uses ñ while Portuguese uses nh.

is because portuguese, spanish, italian and french are romance languages, they came from latin.. I can understand most things in that languages.. We are all from the same origin.

Yeah, but she is. She descends from a Japanese family. If I'm not wrong, Brazil has the biggest Japanese communite outside Japan, so it's pretty easy to find someone with a Japanese last name in Brazil.
Brazil has many different ethnicities and different descendants, black people, white people, asian people, indian people, italian people, portuguese people etc.

When you want to use "where is" in portuguese to mean a place, you must say "onde é" not "onde está" xD She said BTS with english accent, not portuguese.

if youre used to portuguese you can haha however i find that when i try to teach my complete novice friends the basics of portuguese they cant hear the m and always pronounce it as si (might be because i speak brazillian carioca portuguese? lol)

I'm a native speaker so I can say that actually the "m" at the end of a word in portuguese sound like "n". So "Sim" is pronounced just like the word "seen" in English.
i am too lol thats why i said "you don't really hear it" because if you don't speak portuguese than it's hard to recognize the sound.
