If the giratina was in origin form (like it was catched in) it would have been a 1 shot since its more offence based and not defence based. Altered form is way more bulky
You gotta do this with the fuse gimmick lol. Each person gets two gens, and fuse them. So l like, if someone has Kanto and Sinnoh, they may catch a Charizard and a Luxray and fuse them.

All fourteen catches go into a pot, and then you use a football draft style to pick them from the pot (i.e. Chilln first, then Quick, Quick again, then back to Chilln) until you each have a team of six.
You should do ban and pick challenges. Ban 2 region & other player pick 1 then you choose the rest, Ban 2 types & other pick 4 then the rest will be choose by other player, Ban 1 category (legendary/ ultra beast/ etc.) & other pick 1, and so on with player change of order. Time is limitless and you could only use 1 master ball. Thanks
Whenever making these challenges, i always find a mix to be better. Instead of one of you getting only Sinnoh Pokémon and the other only Hoenn, how about getting the first 6 you see fully evolved, take 3 for yourself and 3 for the other? Not selecting the ones you want for the other, but the other selecting randomly
You each catch 10 ppl than you both get to choose 6 from those 20 . But you take turns choosing So you both have options to steal.from each other . And for ultimate cheese. Don't reveal the moves until after picks are made
