Such a cute shaker!! I will definitely try this! I will probably add a permanent liquid adhesive attaching it to the page-my chipboard adhesive is never strong enough! I 💗 shakers! This is perfect because there are never enough pockets!
Thank you,Juli!! Yeah, I am going to see how well it stays! I will add liquid glue if it seems like it wants to pop up! I'm not crazy about chipboard for that reason!! 🤗💖💖💖💖
Such a cute idea! I use tulle almost exclusively for my shakers because I love the extra texture. If you add some beads to your shaker mix that are just large enough to not go thru the tulle, it adds just a bit of height to help the mix “shake”.
Aww, hi Christine!! Thank you so much!! I didn't realize it had been so long!! Thank you so very much for your kindness! Hope you're doing well!! xoxo Amy :)
Thanks this was a great tutorial. I actually like that the sequins stick to the tulle more than sliding down like it does with acetate. It makes for a really pretty look since most likely no one will be shaking the journal page much. That way sequins aren’t all bunched at the bottom.
Yess!! You said it exactly! I really love how the tulle holds them in place and allows you to see them better! And it's great for a journal page since you don't usually shake journals, as you said! LOL Thanks so much for watching and commenting!! xoxo Amy :)
Omg!!!!! I’m drooling! I love this so much. I been working on my December daily and was trying to figure something out for my cover element and I think I’m going to give this a go. I love how the tree sequins match the green trim on your page... it pops so good Tfs ❤️🧚♀️
Love this. Could you have put acetate on the back layer of the shaker pocket? Maybe that would allow the sequins to move around easier. Just a thought.💕
Hi Luellen! Yes, definitely!! I just wanted to use all tulle, but acetate would work and probably make the sequins more around easier! Thank you for sharing!! xoxo Amy :)
I'm definitely going to try this . It's so beautiful. Thanks Amy for sharing ❤(p:s will you be having any of your bow tassels in your etsy shop any time soon? )

Are you still planning on putting a course in your acedamy on how to make a pattern journal?

Do the small items fall through the tulle?
I haven't had that problem! The holes are quite small in the tulle. As long as you use regular sized sequins and confetti, they won't fall out! 🤗❤❤❤❤

Thank you!! 🤗💖💖💖💖
