- May 2023: Skoda Kushaq Variants Explained: In this video, we review Kushaq’s variants to find out which variant makes the most sense for buyers in terms of the value it offers for the money you pay. Watch the video to find out which variant of the Kushaq suits your needs best.
The 2023 Kushaq is 4225mm long, 1760mm wide and 1612mm tall. Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. The Kushaq has a 2651mm long wheelbase. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile.
The 2023 Skoda Kushaq has a fuel tank capacity of 50 litres and a boot space measuring 385 litres. The Kushaq has a ground clearance of 188mm. The tyre size of the 2023 Kushaq base model is 205/60 R16 and the top model rides on 205/65 R17 tyres. Cars running on bigger wheels provide better handling and styling. However, these advantages come at the cost of efficiency. Having bigger wheels means more metal and more rotating mass. Therefore, it adversely impacts your drivability, performance and mileage.
There are 2 petrol engines on offer with the Kushaq -- a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 115PS of maximum power and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 150PS. Both the engines can be had with either a manual or an automatic transmission.
The 1.5L turbo petrol engine is available with a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT transmission. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine gets a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed TC transmission.
Skoda has added Onyx, Ambition Anniversary (NSR) and Monte Carlo variants in the Kushaq range. These are now a part of this variants explained video.

Neither. Get at least ambition or Highline variant. Also, between Taigun and Kushaq buy the car that has more service center nearby

I watched your video on Kushaq earlier, and it helped me making best buying decision. Thanks so much. I have got Ambition 1.0L Automatic and am just loving it. VFM product in Skoda line of cars. Its more premium in comparison to Creta and others in this class.
How is the AC performing? does it compare to cars before 2019?
Don't know for earlier models. But it's effective and works fine in Bangalore. Might be Delhi and other hot regions may have got different observations.
What was the on road price?

Is it okay to go with Brezza VXi or Grand Vitara Delta or Skoda Kushaq? Skoda Onyx from safety perspective, good power with 1.0 Turbo, camera is not good, 5star rating with 2 airbags, included 4 yr service cost. Maruti from economy perspective, only two airbags, no GNCAP, decent power, mild hybrid with less boot space, service cost extra. Please suggest. Sunroof is not required.

Kya kushaq ko maintain karna costy hoga after 6 to 8 year. Ya honda elevate ke 1.5 ltr NA engine ko choose karna sahi rahega??
Becouse kushaq claim fuel economy upto 19 km/l. So its on my mind in first preference

@@cr-je4vp no it is not at all. You will think it on ghat sections if you drive it like NA engines. You need adapt driving turbo engines in ghat sections. We are always 5 6 people roaming in Sahyadri hills of Maharashtra and now I know how to drive engine. In city it is far better than 1.5 NA engines
@@cr-je4vp as torque is available widely in RPM band its driveability is mhch better. You can fill turbk lag before 1750 RPM but u can manage it with quick shifts and practice

@@cr-je4vp yes. We have brezza and creata in our family service cost is same. Service experience is better than rivals. I took service package so it is like 6500 per service.
On long highway trips I got milage of 20 21 kmpl. 5 people with heavy luggage. In city and bummer to bummer traffic 12 to 14 kmpl. So you can say on daily use you will get 15 to 17 kmpl.

SELTOS is anytime the Best Option only if they come up with 4-5 stat safety
Style Variant has Keyless Entry + Push button Start/Stop + Side Curtain Airbags + Ventilated Front Seats + Wireless Phone Charger + Auto Headlamps + R17 Alloys. It completely justifies ₹2.25L incremental cost. On top of that, Monte Carlo has a 10.25" full touch infotainment System + Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay + Subwoofer + amazing interiors/exteriors + amazing Diamond cut alloys. That also justifies its incremental cost of just ₹70,000 either for features or for exclusivity. I generally like your pricing analysis but I don't agree with this one.

If safety, driving comfort and premium feel matters to you… go for Kushaq.
Bro go for Grand Vitara Zeta, you will be far more satisfied with that. I own it so telling from my personal experience.

Thanks for the detailed analysis, it's better to go for Alcazar prestige version (Petrol, Automatic) which is 19.9 lacs ex showroom (just 30k more than Montecarlo) . It gives more features, 7 str, more powerful engine. That's exactly what I did😊
how much fuel economy you get with full load on highways?
Driving experience comfort and thrill, cabin noise, torque response, body roll unmatchable. Drove both Alcazar and Kushaq. Alcazar has more features including the ones that aren’t necessary. Kushaq has improved a lot on features in 2023 model. Only 2 things I wish were there in Kushaq- Remote/Mobile ignition and AC , 360degree camera.
P.S.- loved the indicator camera in Alcazar.
Bottom line: Kushaq is literally KING

😮 😮Now skoda removed subwoofer, amplifier and screen made to just 8 inches, now audio system completely sucks sounds like cheap audio and Android play, wirless charging also removed even they increased 60k price😮😮😮😮

Rain sensing wipers, ABS, cruise control, leather wrapped steering wheel, 7 inch touch screen infotainment, digital mid, cornering fog lamps, 15 inch alloy wheels, rear wipers and defogger, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, height adjustable seats, lane change indicators, high mount rear break lights, integrated rear spoiler, body colour door handles, internally adjustable orvms, all switches backlit, 2 airbags, 4 star global ncap safety rating, automatic AC, steering mounted controls with voice command, cd player, aux input, USB port, 12 volt socket output, front door bottle holder, cooled and illuminated glove box, no d segment gives such big glove box now a days, 4 speakers with excellent sound output, front chrome garnish, rear parking sensors, silver brushed aluminium door handles, key with touch hold window close and open function. Key parking alarm, boot door release function in key. Auto dimming irvm and orvm. The infotainment system even had mirror link option which was available with some mobiles costing a whopping 40000 (no android apple car play.).
All this at 7.35 lakh onroad
Now a days product is designed to cost, not with customer in mind.
And yes, sunroof is a useless feature.
This car is 3-4 lac overpriced any engine any variant.
In short it is an overpriced car just like its segment rivals 🤷♀️
