Crossblade looks real good if you scale it with another weapon. The bow being a classic, but there are alternatives. I mean, you know this. You (just like me a few days ago) Chose not to even run a dagger or so at the tip. Like, I hands down did the same thing, on reaper, with a whetstone crossblades high roll. Heck, I even had a stone badge. But yeah, crossblades itself could only do well if you speed the heck out of it. But then stamina problems.
Turned 40 this year Love this game but I'm too old for all the changes, can't keep up! Started playing The Last Flame which I bought but never played because this game came out. BPB is going the way SAP did, it is becoming a game I watch Ben play and don't play myself anymore.
It'd be a shame but I really don't know if Struggles should be as strong as it is - feels like a nerf / buff of other options is in order? You can work it for infinite of pretty much any buff with a few giraffes and frogge, there's another BpBa UA-camr that did almost exclusively that for a while. I think the only thing I haven't seen it completely outscale is a highroll Eggscalibur right now (which is also pretty absurd).
Cubert and Crossblade is why you lost that run. For Cubert, you were only using 3/4 of the regeneration sides and 1/4 of the empower side. That item is completely worthless until they introduce more items like Crossblade and Squirrel that have shapes touching multiple sides. For Crossblade, you were only using 1/1 of the speeding side and 0/1 of the damaging side. That item is completely worthless unless you run a second weapon, especially ones like Flame Whip that have shapes touching both sides. Also, Amulet of Steel would've been a good addition, you shouldn't have sold it.
The developpers have not added enough items like Crossblade And Squirrel that can touch two sides. It makes it near impossible to exploit Cubert to its maximum potential, getting both regeneration and empower.
They could stand to rework some of the uniques, for sure. I can dig the idea that you make some of them require a weird set-up to optimize, but if you do pull that set-up together, and the result is still not very good, then what is the point of having them.
That amulet of steel would have made more empower than the entire Cubert

Hey i think you misread the vamp gloves it says gain 5 vamp after a few seconds and separately gain 35% attack speed theres a comma
the vamp gloves speed buff has always triggered after the delay

I feel like struggles can be strong but its not always. I don't feel like it needs a nerf
I dont think your backpack was offensive enough , vamp gloves and stamina pots would be better maybe
