A young woman is tricked out of her candy store by a crooked real estate tycoon; when he’s found dead, she’s the prime suspect. This is the one and only picture directed by Jack Kemp, but he gets the best from a fine cast, including Hilda Offley (Keep Punching, Sepia Cinderella) Sheila Guyse (Harlem Follies of 1949) and Kenneth Freeman (The Notorious Elinor Lee). Songs include ‘Chocolate Candy Blues’ sung by Juanita Hall, and ‘Patience and Fortitude’, sung by Norma Shepherd.
Cast: Hilda Offley, William Greaves, Sybil Lewis, Creighton Thompson, Laurence Criner, Jack Carter, Milton Williams, Monte Hawley, Kenneth Freeman, Sheila Guyse
    Director: Jack Kemp

Those old school comedians were so creative, today all they can do is curse words and vulgar language
The music of that time was pure and heavenly

Sorry folks, but religion has done more harm to black people than help. It's great to see that black people were making movies at this time but, lets leave the religious subjects out of it.
