Also that many people who work with sharks have reported small scratches and some rashes from touching the scales they call "Shark Brun"
The rough feeling is caused by dermal denticles. They are more like teeth than fish scales. Essentially shark skin is covered with 'teeth' that are abrasive when you rub against the grain.
they make them super aerodynamic, but under water.. like aquadynamic? they reduce friction a lot they're like tiny backfacing teeth-like structures on the shark skin, as neeber said

They have a few times. One springs to mind of when they fought a fire giant and Bodger threw his hammer to Greg to have it imbued with holy weapon. I think in the same fight Baradun gave Bodger a ride on his Djeoph dragon. I believe Baradun and Bob did something simultaneously in a hag fight too. Also there was the stone or hill giant where they polymorphed it and then all wailed on it at once to counter it's healing factor. I seem to remember a flail snail that kinda fits this description. Chrysomallon squamiferum - better known as the volcano snail, iron snail or scaly-foot snail - is a species of snail that lives in hydrothermal vents in the Indian Ocean. Hydrothermal vents are openings in the seafloor from which geothermally heated water escapes.

The song Rhi started singing is Once in a Lifetime, by Talking Heads; had to look up it's name but I knew it instantly - Love that song! How none of the rest of you recognised that is beyond me. Also, sharks 'scales' are called dermal denticles (little skin teeth). Their "actual" teeth are just modified versions of these which is why they never run out of teeth. They are made of dentine and enamel and essentially have the same structure as our own human teeth; so they literally provide some degree of natural armour. Like any scales, they lay overlapped, like roof tiles, down the body. This helps make the sharks streamlined and means typically they only feel rough - like sand-paper - in one direction, when stroked backward up their body. So the T-Rex Shark wouldn't necessarily cause lacerations as it swims past; indeed it may feel quite sleek and smooth. HOWEVER ... some sharks do actually have additional sharp spiney growths on their scales. We can assume then that this is the case for the T-Rex Shark; and being monstrous in size these are probably (at least) the size of acacia thorns 😅
1:27 This is something I think Pathfinder handled way WAY better about Rangers as a class. Favoured Enemy is still quite niche in Pathfinder, but it's a flat bonus to multiple skill checks (Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, Survival) and attack rolls AND damage rolls against your favoured enemy / favoured enemies. And you can increase those bonuses as you level up, making you EXTREMELY good at dealing with one type of creature, or pretty good against several types.
Looked up the underwater waterfall and my only disappointment is you cant actually see it underwater because its an optical illusion from sand and sediment being pulled down by the current so its best seen from the sky. Still very cool to see and its always amazing to learn another wonder of this world.
As far as I remember, in 3.5E Favored Enemy gave player an additional damage to specific enemy types (in addition to advantages on tracking, bluff, etc.).
