Greg, I know this is your page. But, here in the comments, I think we need to give Obedie a s/o & congrats on taking 1st place on a BIG tournament the other day at the delta. CONGRATS OBEDIE!
@@GregBlanchardFishing I'm ashamed to confess this... The bladed jig is my favorite bait and I have ZERO fish on it after YEARS of fishing it. I've put friends on to it and they all have 5+ lb fish some double digits. Yet I have zero. 😭 I've study and fished hard and nada. I can catch on them on other bait's 🤷♂️🙄
Man you do the smart thing at that launch and unload at the ramp, I usually have to park down below in the parking lot and drag my kayak all the way to the launch. It's not fun 🤣😂
First day throwing a 4” bluegill pattern keitech swimbait on a jig head with an under spin on the bottom and I caught my PB. I will forever be slinging one of those around
Tough call on this one greg. The Delta, you know very well. But like you say, your committed once you launch. But that bass factory is tempting. You've pulled big bass out of there also. Just hook that new PB, into that beautiful boat! Best of luck bro.🙏🤞 😎 🎣
I am a subscriber..You're intro was one of the better ones so far...I prefishing Thurs. And Fri.for a frogs only tournament this weekend...I hope you get em first gured out...
I would say clear lake but you know of all people where your pb came from. I think no matter what you do it will be the right decision. You the man love your vidieos
By the time this video has aired I'm sure you would've fished that tourney already but if I were you, I'd stay on the Delta. Clear Lake is awesome, but I'm sure will be crazy pressured come that day. Either way, good luck sir!
Excited to see the results of the big fish tournament when you upload it sir. I should be able to start fishing weekly once the second week of August hits. Tight lines!
Didn't know it was possible but somehow the quality of the content on your channel just keeps getting better and better man! These are so well done all the way around from start to finish. Really a peaceful, very calming, and relaxing experience watching the videos! LOVE IT! Keep up the hard work Greg!! Happy it's paying off brother!
Great job once again. Your vids are always so well put together. Always informative without being extra preachy. Best of luck in the tournament! #tightlines
I cant wait to see the tournament! I love the tournament videos! You're so funny about the full moon lol back here in the fingerlakes my buddies and I swear by the full moon bite, it always seems better here. And if I remember right you got the full moon bite while you were visiting home and enjoyed it lol don't write off that full moon bite, maybe its just Cali bass that don't like it 😅
I have a bunch on preorder for Sept cant wait. That slobberknocker seems to work well with the new trailer. Thanks brother Greg we appreciate the vid. Tight lines
I’ve realized that I watch your videos like I watch baseball. Each cast is your pitch. Sometimes it’s a ball,….. sometimes it’s a strike. Each time you get a bite, it’s a hit! When you lose a good one it’s a foul. When you land a good one, it’s an infield hit and quite exciting. However, those big ones are home runs and I’ve whooped and hollar’d on some of your ho,e runs. I’ve even looked up to se my fists in the air in triumph at times when you land a biggie. Can you hear the 7th inning stretch song?…. “Take me out to the deelll-tuuuuhhh, take me out to the baaaaasss…”
Thank You Sir..🤟. Always love learning from your channel !! and makes me want to fish the Delta more !! ,,, but when I do fish it , I usually end up saying ,,🤬 🤦♂ 🤷♂ MANN ..I should have went to Melones.... LoL LoL i went out Monday 7/25 ( ladds ) to try to learn how to throw / work a frog with a new Rod set up I got ( last time i used a frog was aprox 25 yrs ago ) I didn't get any blow-ups / interested parties until around 1pm in an area where all the frogs around were watching me croaking & mocking my rookie status .. LoL 🤦♂ got so excited on one that I set and sent the frog flying that ended up hitting me in the chest...eeeeeee ( black / blue spots spin tail type ) nothing all morning on a pad crasher white / tan spots ... Pretty sure I was fishing my chatter bait TOO FAST to . watched another video and he was throwing a black / blue and slowing rolling it with pauses and putting them in the boat,, ( nothing YUGE but numbers...) I caught the most on a sq bill on the outside edge and rip'n it thru weeds...( craw & shad ) but it was a DINKY DOO DAY.. good thing was The frog set up cast a mile and worked well ,,,, Thanks Again for all you Do to !! Appreciate You 🍻🍺🍻 😎
If you can catch one 4-5lb bass a year in Ohio it's a miracle. It would be awesome to have that quality of fish. Lake Erie is awesome but not kayak friendly. Lol
Its very hard to catch a 5lb. + fish even in Ca. Ive been fishing for one for a while now and have hooked a couple but they both got off before i could land them ...
Greg, whats your honest opinion on the ole slobber? I know you love your Berkley. Curious about your unbias opinion compared to the z- man chatters? 🎣🎣🤙🏼🤙🏼
Honestly I haven't thrown it long enough to make a true comparison. I will say the power stinger has been a missing piece to my trailer selection though. I really like that bait as a trailer moving away from a boot tail.
@@GregBlanchardFishing I've heard boot tails prohibit the true action of a chatterbait. However, I never noticed much difference in action. Im def interested in trying the stinger. Keep up the great work bud. 🎣🎣🤙🏼🤙🏼
Noticed you don't really fish Texas rigs, or weightless flukes and couple other rigs, any particular reason for that? Or do you just prefer to use moving baits? Like high tide and fish on the bottom wouldn't it be worth a shot to drag a Carolina rigged big worm or hop along a Texas rig?
I was just wondering why you use abu reels. I know they make a great product and have high drag systems but they just don't feel as smooth to me as shimanos/diawa. Would love to see you post a rod/reel locker video and why you use them.
Couple things... first, I notice that when you have a fish on and you're trying to land it by the yak, you'll click the clutch bar and thumb your spool occasionally(just before you're ready to flip it in the yak). Can you explain the reasoning behind that? I'm sure it's something common sense... I just, for the life of me can't figure it out, lol! Also, would it be a big inconvenience to add the time you catch a fish on your vids, like you do in tournaments? One thing I'm trying to learn is what lures work at what particular time of day. No big deal if doing that is asking too much, lol... just thought I'd ask.
Side note... your content has become my absolute go to with learning bass fishing. It's the only channel currently I rush to view. Really appreciate all you do... and good luck in the tournament!
Yesterday I caught all of my biggest bass on senkos. Top water was going insane, but they wouldn't touch it. Several different lures. When in doubt, throw a senko. It'll get bit. I've seen you catch freaks out of the Delta, it just takes one bite.
Hey Greg, where are good places to launch. I launch at franks track and that’s the only place I know to launch. I don’t catch many bass but I do try. I watch and like all your videos and such a big fan!!! Thanks
I live in Alabama and our tide swing is just like that. So many have lost their lives in our waters here by lack of lake maintenance by the corp. we also have white poles for channel markers 🤦🏽♂️
Hey Greg what’s the best way to get in contact with you. I’m local and commented on some videos back about letting you borrow a dedicated swimbait setup of mine for as long as you’d like
Man...one big fish huh, I'd swing for the fences and throw big baits all day. A big wake bait(whipperdnapper or a Slammer) a big 7inch Keitech, a big glide) if you only need 1 big bite....go big or go home.
Alright Greg, we all know that if you have a bad day on the Delta, go back for the tournament and throw the same thing from the day when they weren't biting. Something seems to happen at the Delta. Have faith man. Good luck.
Throw your whippersnapper. Be patient wake on high tide or slight wind crank it down. Caught a ton of big fish on it this past month. It gets bit so much believe me.

My G must have been on them Younders. Congrats O
We don’t NEED to. But yes O is a stud on the dirty D.
I’ve watched so many of your videos I can see the different areas you’re fishing and guess the bait you’re going to pick up
Right on Big O! 🏆🏆💰💰👍👍
Okay, at 1:24 when you dropped the rod and reel over the side to land that pig..... EPIC~!!!! I went back to make sure that is actually what I saw.
I gotta say he was killing it on that new Berkley Slobberknocker.

Nice been wanting to get some of those new berkley vibrating jigs. Their new spinnerbaits look really nice too!

I'd just be throwing that big swimbait tbh. It does something for me mentally to throw a bigger lure for big fish
have a bunch on preorder for Sept cant wait.
I remember your last video at Clear Lake. You should definitely go there for the tourney.
Question, been watching the vids for a while now and just realized you use lefties and Righties, why is that?
And which are you more comfortable with?

I’m genuinely curious
What happened to your torqeedo 1103?
what's your ideal punching setup? rod, reel, line, weight etc.
Have you tried the double whopper plopper? 😅
Focus on the hourly wins at clear lake greg!!!
