I like how at 5:05 the music forgot to loop so now we only here sound effects and voice clips. And now I can't sleep at night.
Okay that was a joke but at least the sound effects show how much small details Nintendo puts in there games.

I love that mostly smooth transition between plessie and the final flag part of the level when you run out of time.
The only thing that gave it away was the lives counter changing to 11 and the coins to 0

why didnt you just put extra time at the start so that they would have 999 seconds instead of 500, and then add the entire castle?

the game would crash because it had to render too many collision models at once

All the modder had to do was unload portions of the level as the player progresses so that the game doesn't overwork and crash.
