Bought this product today except i got the medium to tan product, (darkest of jergens) i'v tried it today and wow, i notice a major difference already, i love love lovee this product ! minus i do not like the ''fake tan '' after smell, you girls know what i'm talking about that use self tanners. DEAR GIRLS DO NOT GO TO THE CASKETS WITH LIGHTS !(did you ever notice that a tanning bed actually do look like a casket?) don't go there go Jergens! ;D

@xsambo328 That's very common, it means you have to really exfoliate those areas first. We naturally have thicker skin there and also a thicker layer of dead skin cells, this is why the sunless tanning can look streaky there, and on feet and elbows as well. Just scrub the heck out of those areas and let them rest a couple of hours before you apply the product.
This says there's before and after photos, but there isn't any.

Is this product suitable for your face? I think it's only meant to be used on your body as a self-tanner. For a natural looking tan or colour on your face I would recommend using BB creams. BB creams have a hint of colour but are more of a moisturizer and won't make your skin red the way this product did. Hope this helps

I have dry skin... and I use it on my face all the time. I wouldn't recommend using it on oily skin though.
I've used it on my face, it feels kinda greasy on ur face, but I haven't broke out and I've used it on my face 3 times in the past 3 days so I think it's probably ok to use on ur face..

@thegreetingshumans It actually didn't make me break out! I have normal to dry skin and it was just fine. If you have really dry or really oily skin i wouldn't really try messing with it too much because then it WILL make you break out.
@michelleAH96 It actually does strangely! Because when you shave you lop off a layer of dead skin, and with it comes the fake tanner that you had applied
@FollowYrHeart Yeah because you are scraping the top layer of skin off so a lot of it will come off in the shower
Maaan I tried that before and it made me yellow! There's a good one at Ulta that I looove, its the Self Tantalizer Body Bronzing by LORAC. It's like 35 bucks though -_-
@chrissyluvsjesse use it after you take a shower so your skin will absorb it better and try to avoid sunlight while it sets in.
I'm very acne prone and no, it doesn't make me break out. :)
@pigness It is really difficult. The first few times I had my boyfriend do it but after a while I stopped putting it on my back because it was so difficult. It didn't look unnatural or anything though.
i had the nivea sun kissed beautiful legs one and i didnt like it at all! MADE ME LOOK ORANGE AFTER A WHILE X( i was so mad...u havent gotten like that orange-y color anywhere on you with this stuff???
how often can you shower and when do you reapply??? I have a beach vacation coming up in June and dont want to be white as a ghost this will be the first time using self tanner so PLEASE HELP!!!!
@94bananapancakes I would put it all over because it will kind of even out the tan lines! If you want one area of your body more tan I recommend getting the instant tanner from the same collection and applying it to that certain area. That's what I do on my legs and it works well!
@ThatShouldBeMexxx I guess I just don't understand how fake tan works differently whether you are curvy or not. You should be fine.
Has anyone used this and has had it seem like it stopped working? I borrowed this from a friend a while ago, and it was working fine, now she had the firming one, and later on i bought the revitalizing one and it seemed to be working fine. I stopped using it after it ran out and i bought one a few months ago, but i'm not getting the tan like i was before. Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know why it may not be working?

I used this on my body for little more than 2 weeks and I wasn't darker only in the crease in my arm
@euleexlove The smell isn't bad and you stop smelling like it after about 30 minutes anyways but if it continues to bother you, I would wait at least 4 hours before showering. If you do shower I recommend not scrubbing a whole lot and not taking a long shower because it will most likely come righto ff. I wouldn't recommend putting the regular stuff on your face because it might turn it orange but I haven't tried it so I'm not 100% positive. I hope this was helpful! :)

I bought this yesterday in the medium to tan one... does it wash off easily in the shower??
@Ivaannaa12 I just apply it very evenly all over the face. Avoid eyebrows and make sure to get it along the hairline. It shouldn't turn you orange. I would also leave it on for at least 4 hours so that it can fully absorb in. Do this after washing/exfoliating your face for a streak-less finish! :)

@timeforthuy Absolutely! It's also great if you are using a real fake tanner (not a gradual one) and you want to keep your tan even. If you use this everyday it will make sure all streaking is basically hidden. :)
@kellyalexandrashow can you tell me if you like the smell? i mean does it bother you? i smelled it from the tube and it was fine but ik most self tanners smell really bad from the DHA! So is the smell like that? and if it does smell bad does showering take that smell righ off?
does the face moisturizer break u out??? i have very sensitive acne prone skin so i dont know if it will break me out i dont have acne just sometimes they will appear on my cheeks and i have gotten rid of it so dont want to start up again and do you use another type of moisturizer over it???

This doesnt work for me. I've been using it in the morning after I wash my face and at night after I wash my face. I have been using it for a month
I wax my legs, so that's not a problem for me. I think I'm going to go out and buy some for myself! ^.^

Well, If you are reapplying it everyday...then you will be able to keep the tan...not all of it comes off when you shave.

@DorothieeLokss559 Haha I almost always answer! :) I apply right when I get out of the shower and I just do it with my bare hands. My hands have never turned orange as long as I wash them as soon as I'm done rubbing it in. Also try to not put clothes on or put your body anything that it can rub off on before it absorbs into your skin. I hope this helped! :)
@xojbabyyxo Any kind of body scrub willl work :) I love the bath&body works "im in the mood for a scrub". Also, any kind of extra scratchy loofah will help do that as well :)
what can you use as an exfoliater?

@lalalauren409 To be honest, this is one of the least offensive smelling fake tanners I have ever used. I actually kind of like the smell. Also, the antioxidant one smells better than the "firming" one (in my opinion). I hope this helped!! :)

@Heidi07xox It only washes off easily when you shave! I recommend getting the instant tan version of this for your legs or else your legs will not stay as tan :)

i am even more whiter then you & this is what i use! & i love it! doesn't make you prange either, this is the first product that doesn't make me orange!
@beautyl0vin You are too funny! Everyday just apply that to the top of your hands and rub it together (not with the palms of your hands). This will keep your hands moisturized as well as tan! Hahaha :)

go to the dollar store, get a ''back scratcher'' and some sort of foamy pad and stick it in, put some lotion on your foam start witht he top and work your way down! tha'ts what i done LOL
