Cool. I can certainly appreciate that. Thanks. I can surely employ charcoal. But my fire chamber is extremely tall . Not sure I could use that. Certainly can throw in charcoal onto the wood fire. I have to readily remove wood scrap from the local wood shop and I have more wood scraps than I can use. I give it away. So the wood works wonders to light off the hard coal. Thank you for this tip.
you are a supper nerd. So i love this and give it a 10. if you ever want to get things fired up faster use a little bacon grease coal is more or lass a rock and we burn it.
Very glad to find your channel. Are you able to heat the home with this stove (guessing no based on size and age of home) or do you use other stoves to help? And yes some more videos on the stove/tutorials would be great. Thanks.
Thanks Pete, glad you liked the video. This stove only heats the kitchen and dining rooms. I have a wood fire place and a wood insert. All three together would heat the house pretty well if we needed.
I have the same penn franklin (though i think mine is the size up the 260) and funny enough i use a very similar method for starting minus the can. I would love to see how you run yours.
Awesome
That's a lovely stove mate! Wow!!!😍😍

Love burning Coal. It's a great heat source. I use match light to get mine going.

I really wanted an antique parlor stove for my old home, but the freakin’ insurance companies! It’s going to be a display if I ever find one 😖
