I don’t know why but this song reminds me of a person slowly losing their sanity. I see this especially at the last part of the song where the music builds up and then suddenly stops, showing the person has fully lost it and “snapped”

I love this piece. There’s this dramatic build-up, and it makes you think you’re going somewhere big and heavy. And then, it takes us to this neat little musical space instead, and it is shimmery, tiny, and comfy. It feels like the artist just took us to their secret hiding place, the one place where they feel safe from the chaos of the world. Like a little hidden library in a house, or a little garden completely hidden in the middle of a hedge maze. A place where the artist can go in order to become completely isolated from the rest of the world, if even for a moment. It’s comfy, it’s beautiful, and there’s something magical about it somehow.

Because it's about how her family migrated to France when the communists attacked Bulgaria.
