- My builder grade entertainment center is getting an extreme makeover! First, I demoed the awkwardly placed drywall shelves. I added wall molding and paneling to the shelf niches. I gave the entire piece 4 coats of new paint. I am also sharing styling ideas and we're creating two stunning orchid arrangements! You won't believe the jaw dropping before & after! Oh Lisa you just outdid yourself! What a gorgeous transformation, it is unbelievable that a tiny little lady like you can do such hard work, I am so impressed with your skills! Those mirrors and tables are so beautiful and Natalie was right about those lights those really add so much. You should be so proud of yourself for all the hard work, money saved and improving the quality of your living space, it sure does look custom and brings in so much light. Placing the TV on the taller table was genius, and you still have storage space,. I like the tip about using blue tape to help keep the molding in place. First, let me say that your black and white dress looks beautiful on you.
Second, I LOL as you were describing your paint outfit!! Lady, you "bust out" whatever you need to to paint in. You have a great sense of humor!!
Third, you absolutely outdid yourself on this makeover!! OH MY WORD!! It's amazing!! The look of elegance is spot-on!! My favorite... EVERYTHING!! The gold and marble tables wouldn't look as good as they do without the mirrors behind them and the beautiful orchid arrangement on top of them. The table/cabinet your TV sits on is perfect for that space. Then you added the lights... ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!! Especially at night!! You rocked this makeover, Lisa! And kudos to NataLee for the light suggestion!!

Now I want to do something with my entertainment center but I’m safe because my husband would never let me do it. The outcome is beautiful! It’s just what that area needed. If you don’t want to tackle the fireplace , maybe just paint the mantel in the same paint as the entertainment center. Love what you did with your entertainment cabinet, what if you paint the feet stans that hold your TV white so they don't stick out so much. Just an idea.

In my new home it has a great room with Kitchen and small dinning room and the living room all in one just like your but on a smaller scale. I love how you redid your entertainment center it turned out breath taking. The mirrors are stunning and i cannot wait to see how you tackle the fire place.
