You’re the first person I’ve seen who actually UNDERSTANDS that the final performance (and part distribution) doesn’t matter because fandoms are already well-established BEFORE the final episode. Whether the most popular trainee gets only 6 secs in a song or the least popular trainee gets 1min in a song, the final results won’t really change that much. This show is basically a popularity contest. Even if the least popular trainee did super well in his 1min parts, they won’t suddenly rise to #5 because the ranking heavily depends on the amount of votes accumulated for the past week. A major change can only be for those ranking #7-12 maybe?

I am TERRIFIED for Jongwoo's chances, BUT it's still important to mention that his fans are still here. The thing about Jongwoo is that his supporters have pretty much become silent to the rest of the bpfandom because we realized that there's no point in joining fanwars and trying to explain things to people who purposefully spread misinformation and chooses to see the worst in him. Nothing we can say will change how some people target him, and we refuse to stoop to the haters' level so basically almost every Jongwoo fan has either gone private, post only in circles and/or have blocked thousand of accounts, so we don't have to face the baseless hate on a regular basis. We are simply vibing to cute fan-edits, pre-debut photos and lives from his time in Black Level, and planning our voting. We're here. We're strong. We just try not to interact with a fandom that turned their backs on him as soon it became beneficial for their own pick. We got him to the top 18 without benefits because we, just like Jongwoo, has an unbreakable heart 💕 Also, his Japanese fandom is stronger that people think. Because of his personality and talents, paired with his Black Level days where he did a lot of promotions in Japan he has a really strong fandom there - and they are basically the backbone of the Jongwoo fandom. Also, you must be on the wrong side of tik tok, because he is still doing numbers over there, and countless new tik toks appear every day 🙈 Moonjjongies - don't give up!! My 1 pick is Jongwoo and I can assure you that he does have loyal fans on Twitter and TikTok who are voting for him. Actually it was pretty funny, because Kum Jun Hyeon wanted someone to push him out, so Hui took his place even though he had no intention of doing the part at first (he said it was hard or smth, I don't really remember). Everyone there knows, that Hui, as always, can do really well the main vocal part, so nobody pushed him out after he took his place. I also really like seeing him taking care and helping the younger trainees, it's really sweet!

I support the protest but I honestly think that bloody Mnet won’t do anything about it. They ignore the viewers/fans’ complaints, Korean media outlets’ criticism and suspicions raised about rigging & transparency, but they are able to respond promptly about the issue of people using cloning apps to vote, mentioning China in particular when there are people from other countries who use the cloning apps to mass vote for their favs as well. Blatant Sinophobia… as if the c-trainees don’t already go through enough. It’s obvious that mnet is afraid of zhanghao ranking too high. They’re really doing everything to keep g group trainees’ ranks under control right now. I know from the very beginning that they wouldn’t want too many g group trainees in the group, but it still makes me angry when they mistreat g group trainees. I don’t think the protest is gonna jeopardise the debut group’s popularity. There won’t be another X1 unless money is involved in this case. I don’t think the whole group will be affected but some allegations will most probably follow certain trainees’ even after debut (eg. Matthew)

I’m gonna miss your reviews on boys planet because your opinion is always quite objective. Thank you! You’re the first person I’ve seen who actually UNDERSTANDS that the final performance (and part distribution) doesn’t matter because fandoms are already well-established BEFORE the final episode. Whether the most popular trainee gets only 6 secs in a song or the least popular trainee gets 1min in a song, the final results won’t really change that much. This show is basically a popularity contest. Even if the least popular trainee did super well in his 1min parts, they won’t suddenly rise to #5 because the ranking heavily depends on the amount of votes accumulated for the past week. A major change can only be for those ranking #7-12 maybe?

I am TERRIFIED for Jongwoo's chances, BUT it's still important to mention that his fans are still here. The thing about Jongwoo is that his supporters have pretty much become silent to the rest of the bpfandom because we realized that there's no point in joining fanwars and trying to explain things to people who purposefully spread misinformation and chooses to see the worst in him. Nothing we can say will change how some people target him, and we refuse to stoop to the haters' level so basically almost every Jongwoo fan has either gone private, post only in circles and/or have blocked thousand of accounts, so we don't have to face the baseless hate on a regular basis.
We are simply vibing to cute fan-edits, pre-debut photos and lives from his time in Black Level, and planning our voting. We're here. We're strong. We just try not to interact with a fandom that turned their backs on him as soon it became beneficial for their own pick. My 1 pick is Jongwoo and I can assure you that he does have loyal fans on Twitter and TikTok who are voting for him. We may not be the biggest fanbase but moonjjongs are very loyal and we never rotate our votes. Also we mostly keep to ourselves and don’t interact with a lot of other solo fandoms cause of all the negativity. I hear he has a lot of j-fans as well. Actually it was pretty funny, because Kum Jun Hyeon wanted someone to push him out, so Hui took his place even though he had no intention of doing the part at first (he said it was hard or smth, I don't really remember). Everyone there knows, that Hui, as always, can do really well the main vocal part, so nobody pushed him out after he took his place.
I also really like seeing him taking care and helping the younger trainees, it's really sweet!

My prediction for top 9 with the ranks :
The one that are locked and will 100% debut :
1- shanbin : even with the whole jay controverse i still thinks he will be ranking first, idk he is just too far ahead of everybody and mnet def want him first so that he could have the solo = good sales = good profit
If he isnt first, he will be 2 or 3 i think
2- taerae : i can see him take the first spot too, his korean fanbase is really strong even tho he doesn't have that much of screentime, he give me chaeyeon vibes
3- yujin : same i can see him ranking first, especially that now he dropped a bit in the ranking (still 5 tho), i'm sure he will have a better rank than what he has now
5- jiwoong : strong korean and inter fanbase, i though he would drop before we had the ranking of the 11st episode since mnet is not focusing on him anymore but he ranked even higher so i guess he will maintain his spot
6- matthew : he will debut for sure, he dropped to 9 now but its actually a good strategy to create massive voting process (remember chaeyeon last year or even jungwoon in ILand, they ranked 1st because they were at the limit of being out of top9)
Now trainees I think they are still not safe :
8- zhanghao : well I still think he will debut since he has a good korean and inter fanbase but we never know, i think he will dropp in the ranking but still make it to top 9
7- keita : idk his korean votes are so looooow man he really is relaying only on us inter fans, he has a strong 1st pick fanbase but i'm afraid the "good" result of him ranking 6 last time will make people think he is safe while he isn't at all

I support the protest but I honestly think that bloody Mnet won’t do anything about it. They ignore the viewers/fans’ complaints, Korean media outlets’ criticism and suspicions raised about rigging & transparency, but they are able to respond promptly about the issue of people using cloning apps to vote, mentioning China in particular when there are people from other countries who use the cloning apps to mass vote for their favs as well. Blatant Sinophobia… as if the c-trainees don’t already go through enough. It’s obvious that mnet is afraid of zhanghao ranking too high. They’re really doing everything to keep g group trainees’ ranks under control right now. I know from the very beginning that they wouldn’t want too many g group trainees in the group, but it still makes me angry when they mistreat g group trainees.
I don’t think the protest is gonna jeopardise the debut group’s popularity. There won’t be another X1 unless money is involved in this case. I don’t think the whole group will be affected but some allegations will most probably follow certain trainees’ even after debut (eg. Matthew)
