I don't know why, but I always have to cry when I see athletes achieving their goals... Lucy, you're one of the most inspiring human beings I've been following lately. Thank you for sharing your ups & downs with the rest of us. ❤ btw, I'm currently training for my first half marathon. I hope I'll be as consistent as you are. 💪🏽
absolutely sat here sobbing. Lucy Davis, we are all so incredibly proud of what you have achieved. You are an inspiration and a half to myself and to SOSOSO many others. You put your everything into this and the result...RIDICULOUS 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 SO PROUD, CONGRATULATIONS BESTIE
I literately cried when you hit 88 km and the rest of the video… I have followed you for the past 4 years and find you so inspiring, hard working and just absolutely amazing💪🏼✨keep up your AMAZING work!
I’ve watched this video so many times and it always makes me sob. Especially now in retrospect - my grandma has just recovered from breast cancer and we ran a race for life in July before her surgery. You are so inspirational.
absolutely incredible human you are. I started tearing up when they counted down for the start and I don’t even know you. thank you for taking us on your journey Lucy🤍 you are a superhuman
Sitting here with tears running down my face😢😢. I have skin cancer in my eye, dead now, and my soulmate died of an undiagnosed brain tumour. So cancer is a feckin aerosole to me. You are such an inspiration and have even got me to restart doing my resistance band training at home and one day I will get back to the gym. You are feckin awesome
Thank you for showing us your strength and for reminding us to just keep moving forward. Currently, studying for the most important exam of my life (7 months preparation) and you are an inspiration for me and for all of us! Thank you
❤️ thank you 🙏 For raising money for breast cancer, thank you for sharing, thank you for being absolutely amazing and nice to all the volunteers! And thank you for being an inspiration! ❤️👏
You are an inspiration. I’m struggling so much to run training for a race and also lift consistently. It feels impossible. I keep looking to you and reminding myself that you do it and you did it. I’m trying to work through the pain built up in my legs and the failure to recover well. Running alone is so hard mentally. So proud of you and thanks for sharing your experience, I hope I can overcome my obstacles
This is exactly what I needed to see right now. I’m training for my first half marathon at the end of October with over 7k fit altitude, as I’m also learning to swim as a 40 yo woman and keeping up with my strength training. This have me so fired up! I know I can do it! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful experience with us 💪🏾🏃🏾♀️

"I don't want to cry here." And I'm already crying just by watching! 👏👏👏 Well done, Lucy. You're such an inspiration for the human kind. Cheers from 🇧🇷
Lucy! We are so proud of you. This video is so real and raw, you did it!!! You effing did it! You’re so motivating and pushed through the mental game. Shout out to Ben and all the supporters🤍
You are an inspiration to everyone but especially ALL the young little ones Lucy! So incredible that they have someone like you to look up to. Congrats, well deserved 👊🏼🤍
I’m so proud of you!!!!! Thank you for sharing your journey 💛 I used to compete in bikini division of bodybuilding, have always lifted weights, and this year I am running my first half marathon! Just hit my first 10 miles straight on running!! Thank you for the inspiration!!!
Hi from NZ. Huge congrats! 100km run is super impressive. Pro Tip for the toes: 1) go for a wider fit if you can, I say that because not all folk like a wider fit and prefer the narrow fit of the likes of Nike and other brands, but if you can, see if it works. Often this is a '2E' shoe size. Try maybe brands like Hoka, Topo, Altra, Icebug and a few other more recognised brands for trail running. For the mix of trail and road the Hoka Bondi range I am sure you will love. 2) Tape your feet/toes (Hapla-band) prior but especially during if you feel that soreness again. There is a great UA-cam video by a fellow Brit who shows how to do this along with using Tincture of Benzoin. It is called: Foot taping - Blister prevention for Ultra running, by Run Ultra UK. 3) Keep toenails trimmed. 4) perhaps try Injinji socks, they work for a lot of other runners. Good luck on your next adventure!
You , nothing short of inspiration… more of what this world needs!! Pushing forward and perseverance when sh*t gets hard… the love from your team, great mates! Absolutely love all of you! 💜🎗
Not me crying as you reach the finish line 😭😭 You are such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing this experience. I’m just now getting into running and it’s such a battle in my mind. Videos like this help me a lot
Angel girl I’m so proud of you eeeek!! As a runner, MASSIVE RESPECT. Gosh this video actually made me emotional. Im so so proud of you which I know won’t mean much from a stranger but yeah, absolutely smashed it🤍🦋
Thank you, this was very useful as I approach my own 100k non-stop RTTS this year (2023). It's helpful for others to see the struggle along the course, but also how well you performed.
Great achievement on your 100k, especially on a very hot day. I am the guy you told you run on just before the finish. Loved this clip brought all the memories back of the day. Plus impressive blisters!
Well done - runners bodies are the best - dont let anyone get in your head! As ultra marathon runner, some of these long runs can feel impossible, but yet, your next one will feel easier!!!
Well done Lucy, I feel so proud and happy for you and felt actually quite emotional watching you cross the finish line. you are such an inspiration and everyone just loves you, it was so amazing to see the support and wonderful people you had cheering you on at each check point. Thank you for being so honest and sharing those lows as well, you are just INCREDIBLE! big love xxx
Incredible! Legit made me cry. Well done doesn't even cut it. Fantastic team and friends 🙏🥰 I would do anything to run again 🙏 thank you for sharing 🎉🥇
I've said this on insta but I you talking about losing weight you really didn't wanna lose necessarily? I can only imagine how unsettling this must be! Especially coming from a background with disordered eating and poor body image, having overcome that and being confident in the muscle and strength and size you've built and seeing the slip away...I would've stopped training for an ultra. And that's what's insane because you kept your head dow and you just kept going and you fcking did it and I think we all know your muscles will return in no time! This is just temporary and also: You're Lucy *fcking* Davis. And you're so so smart and educated in the fitness industry you need to have trust in yourself that this is gonna be fine. Cause you're a hustler and an absolute inspiration!! I bet my LIFE in a few weeks things willa already have changed so drastically you won't recognise them. I wish you the best and needless to say: HOLY SHITBALLS YOU DID *THAT*!!
Massive congratulations! You are such an inspiration ❤️ well done for smashing it and raising so much money! Off to find a tissue now because that video has made me cry more than I expected 🤦🏼♀️
So amazing! Great job, Lucy! I miss running so much and as soon as I get the ok from my drs, I’m starting again. Half marathon April next year, full marathon by the end of 2023! You’re an inspiration! Xxx
This is amazing! You should be so so proud of yourself! You've definitely inspired me! A few months ago I couldn't run to my local shop however I ran my first 10k a few weeks ago and now booked to run half marathon in September! I'm hoping to run a full marathon next year! I'm no way on your level however you've helped me to set my own goals! I got so emotional watching this! You are a star! Well done 👏
You did absolutely incredible Lucy, such an inspiration and huge well done for supporting such an amazing charity… your family and friends are so proud 💙💕

So, I never feel compelled to comment on anything, no matter how it makes me feel. I got to know about you and your journey through Stephanie's videos. Let me just tell you that you're one of the most inspirational people I've ever seen. You pushed through all your pain and self-doubt to achieve your goals. It's been a delight to watch! I can't even seem to get myself to run 10km, no matter how hard I try. Congratulations, Lucy. 👑
Lucy Davis you are incredible! Never known anyone so committed and determined to smash their goals. You’re an absolute beast and an inspiration to so many people, including myself. Well done, we’re all so proud. Also, how sick is this video 👌🏼 loved re-living the day. 🤍
Wow Lucy you accomplished something that a very small percentage of people would ever try good job 👍. Your a blessed girl to have so many amazing friends and family for support. Maybe next time you can get Stephanie to run the whole race with you.
I am working towards my first longer race (50K) so these videos are very helpful. With my life I am only going to be able to do 1 per year so maximizing my chances of success for my minimal attempts is very important to me. These videos are a good training source of how to expect what will come emotionally and mentally, which I have no idea how to do until I am in the race. Thanks so much for the video! Those toes are crazy. ha ha Oh and by the way, (commenting on the first minute or two of the video,) It's hard to hear anyone would call you anorexic! Your body looks strong and capable. You really do look great. Ignore those people and eat those comments up and use them as fuel to continue being better than they are. I heard something somewhere and it always stuck with me. "You have never once met a hater that is doing better than you." So whenever someone says something negative, just smile at them and know, that person is threatened by you.
Wow. When I grow up I wanna be like you! (I'm 36 Ha) you are such an inspiration. Bawled my eyes out at this. What an amazing accomplishment. Well done Lucy. Incredible xx
I’ve just started following you and binging all of your videos. You are so inspiring and this is such an amazing achievement. I’ve just got back into fitness a few months ago and just started running and these videos are motivating me so much. You are an inspiration well done xxx

luc, im so so so proud of you! Whether you finished this race or not! You are such a power woman, an example for many! Your energy is amazing and always remember: your body is literally the least interesting thing about you! Ps that toe nail 👀👀👀

Those toes are crazy. ha ha
Oh and by the way, (commenting on the first minute or two of the video,) It's hard to hear anyone would call you anorexic!
This was incredible, I teared up as you described the chanting at the end. I've only just come across your channel, and as an ultra runner, I love how you kept it real and showed the mood swings, and how things really do get better. I know some people run ultras unsupported, but i feel the same about how important my crew is to keep me going. Subscribed, looking forward to catching up on your videos! Going to try a 100 miler next??
Absolute legend!! Massive congratulations xxx
