Ya know what I love about Tamar? This show is called the REAL. She is 100% real. Totally herself. I have a lot of food allergies, and still people try to guilt me into trying stuff without knowing what's in it. I love that she didn't let them pressure her into eating anything she didn't want to. That's real! It's ok to be a picky eater. It's ok to be on a diet. Whatever her reasons were, it shows that it's ok if you don't want to follow what everyone else is doing. I love that.
There’s also something called being a team player when it comes down to your job/career. All the foods are particular, ig for entertainment purposes and to make things interesting . I’m sure most people wouldn’t voluntarily choose a pb and j hamburger but the show needs to go on, and they can’t all be picky eaters. I’ve noticed she does this on all of the food segments, she always somehow opts out and the other girls have to low key make up for it. In African Culture ( I believe its common courtesy everywhere else), its not only rude but its an insult to eat infront of somebody without offering them some. In other talk shows the audience get sample size food in order to participate too. I think Oprah did it on her show. But hey,it could just be a budget thing since The Real is the new kid on the Block
