In 2015, Pope Francis wrote Laudato Si’ (The Letter); an encyclical letter about the environmental crisis to every single person in the world. A few years later, four voices that have gone unheard in global conversations have been invited to an unprecedented dialogue with the Pope. Hailing from Senegal, the Amazon, India, and Hawai’i, they bring perspective and solutions from the poor, the indigenous, the youth, and wildlife into a conversation with Pope Francis himself. This documentary follows their journey to Rome and the extraordinary experiences that took place there, and is packed with powerfully moving personal stories alongside the latest information about the planetary crisis and the toll it’s taking on nature and people.

So very grateful to have this afternoon available for this movie. The promotional material has been around all month. The Letter film lived up to all my expectations! Gathering these representatives from arounbd the entire Earth into a single conversation about our climate crisis inergizes me to work with those in my area to make stratigic changes in our way of life. We must give Earth all the help we can so she can heal from the global distruction caused by human activity in these earliest days of the Anthropocene Era!!!

I was fortunate to be in a discussion group studying Laudato Si. I want to read it again. After watching the movie, The Two Popes, I want to hear more from Pope Francis. He truly has inspiring words gifted from the Holy Spirit.
I usually scrutinize the Vatican for their opaque practices, but that's a wise and insightful pope right there. I hope this generation listens to his plea. I can only hope.

Whether you believe in God or not, this message is important. I was born and raised Catholic. I rejected religion a long, long time ago. I do like Pope Francis, he understands not just the inequality, the poor and how the climate is destroying our planet. Pope Francis actually cares. A planet that our children and grandchildren will inherit. Do you want your lineage to continue? If the answer is yes? Then watch this with an open mind, whether you’re a climate change denier or not. I believe it’s changing, the seasons are muddled up, I’ve noticed the change from growing up. I’m almost in my fifties.
some of us elderly have been trying to prevent global warming to prevent what is happening.do any of the younger people remember when our rivers were being polluted with industrial waste and various poisons. And lost there jobs for it.the young people of today are spoiled add pampered, not wanting to work and want every thing handed to them..I praise the good and am ashamed of the rest. if the shoe fits where it. Th politicians wouldn’t do anything about it unless us old people showed them how to become richer by correcting the problem..
