New instrument one hears 0:15 & onwards is called "Santoor" ....my assumption is tht the "Santoor" is added to gv a "Persian touch" to the theme music. The tune of the theme doesn't change. It's just that a new instrument is introduced to gv a bit of a local touch. Stay safe 😊👍
It's a device called "Setar". something between a guitar and the Indian instrument Sitar. although it's not the same as Sitar. It's Setar and built different.
The guy on right is Mehdi Akhavan Sales, one the most impressive contemporary poets of Iran...the next frame the lady on left is Haydeh who was probably the best Persian pop and traditional singer which is ever produced by far...God bless their souls 🙏🔥

I'm not from Iran, but this music is very nice and ethnic! BBC News Arabic should've used this for their 2009 countdown!

0:55 the flaw of this countdown is how it sounds “cut off” at this part compared to the main countdown.
