- I was happy to be invited to the 2022 MS Fish Camp.This was the second annual camp where Sports writer's, Media, Tackle companies and Fisherman from across the country gather to fish and and talk crappie fishing and highlight products. Thanks to all the who gave me an opportunity to highlight my KFRED KAJUN seasoning and UA-cam Channel. Enjoyed the podcasts and interviews. Mike Jones and Brad Wiegmann planned a great event, the visit to the Mississippi Heritage Museum, the Banquet and putting me in the boat with James Callaway and Mark Hamberlin. Thanks to the Sports Writer John Fletcher for including me in the Mississippi Sportsman. It’s been slow this whole spring. Just when they’re starting to heat up..boom, and a cold front and 5” of rain. Glad you’re had a great time and Lake Washington is one of the nation’s best crappie lakes. It’s just something about fishing in those giant cypress trees. Stay safe and God Bless!

Here's a tip for you. Buy a length of small pipe insulator foam.You'll have to experiment with different thicknesses, but that type foam is really sound transparent. So, anyway, cut a small square of the foam and attach it over the top of your go-pro microphone. ( Be careful to not cover the mike opening.) This will Severely cut down on the wind noise from air moving across the microphone element. If it reduces your volume too much cut it thinner with a razor blade and try again.

Can you fish around cypress trees using this technique anytime of the year ? Just found your channel . I fish chicot state park being I live just a few miles from there and there’s a lot of cypress trees thru out the lake .
