Bro you are just awesome and i'am also chemical engineer and your explanation seems to be like experinced professional and not like college lecturer. Kindly explain in english and don't bother about anyone. You are really helping a lot. Continue your service.
Your informative videos are highly beneficial for non chemical engineers like us working in the refining industry. Thank u for the well put in effort. A kind request: could u put up a video on the explanation of amine strength, its effect, kinds of ami e and their merits/demerits and associated knowledge in the industry!
Please give some information about code and standard for design aspects. I m 17yrs experience in design but whenever i see ur videos its always something new.
Great sir. It's truly informative & knowledge gathering video that you uploaded sir. Sir please share references book name for psv size calculation or troubleshooting..
Sir I have one doubt I have lecture notes and standard book but to get grip own concept i want to watch nptel lectures so did u take notes from nptel while u were preparing
Very good explanation. Thanks for such videos. Q1.when we see the P&ID psv set value remains the same for cases, even where multiple psv's are available. I haven't seen any case where one psv set value is set at 50 and other at 52.5kgf/cm2g. Just for information. Q2. As the MAWP/MAAP or lessthan the hydrotest pressure, does that mean we can run the vessel at high pressures above design for specific period of time? If so how much? Considering psv in isolated condition. Q3. How to calculate the burst pressure? Q4. From where do we find the MAWP values of different vessels in the process unit? Thabk
Sir its too much confusing ,between psv and prv when u r relating with terms..pls add short vidio so its clear terms related to safty valve and relef valve..
15.88 mm(OD) x 0.6mm thickness of copper tubes length 10 MTR IS 11329 clause no. 7.3.1 ke anusar disign pressure low side and Haiger side kitna hoga. Kindly update us.

Yes, I used to make notes while watching nptel videos.
Which NPTEL course you Followed
Please make a video on 3% pressure drop loss in psv inlet line.
Hi Sandeep ji, can you just explain using formula how to calculate shell thickness with the available design pressure
Very good explanation. Thanks for such videos.

Sir why blowdown occurs?
Rated pressure????
If PSV set at design pressure in that case working pressure and MAWP are same whatever as per API 520 it is also valid for more volatile components
