  • Democracy should not just be a mindset; it must translate into the well-being of the ordinary citizens on the streets.

In Democracy there’re 3 arms of government.
The Executive arm, Legislative arm and Judiciary arm of government.
The legislative and judicial branches are the legal branches to checkmate the Executive arm of government.
So, the problem in Nigerian democracy is that corruption found its foot in the other two branches of government that should have been checkmating and balancing the excesses or abusive power of the Executive branch.
This the key reason for the collapse of democracy in Nigeria🇳🇬.
Note; In Democracy and democratic society, no national chairman has such legitimate authority to checkmate a president.
The president of a democratic country is not for a political party, but a president for the entire country, including those that voted or don’t vote for him/her.
The only constituted arms to checkmate a president are the legislative and judiciary branches of government.

When you cannot take a speech off heart, it shows the level of the persons intelligence and consistency. Reading a speech like a Robot will always showcase a COPY and PASTE write up.

All of them read, including the best of them all - Obama. The only difference is Obama usually practiced his speech over a thousand times before speaking. He still would use his teleprompter but he knows every word before it's presented. Your amala president doesn't have such discipline, sorry 😮

The reason CSOs are weaker is because many mistake civilian rule for “democracy”. I’ve said it before, it is not only uniformed leaders that ignore tenets of democracy, plain clothes people can also act like dictators or military rulers.

I like Sabo but he seems to be very ignorant in lots of things. It is a shame that Sambo is still hoping that one day an Angel will be elected that will transform naija, a population of maybe 500m by then, simply by selling 1.2m barrel of oil. Are those countries with military rule not currently the worst in West Africa?
Sambo needs to wake up and understand that British knew what they were doing when they set up naija as PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY since naija is heterogenous country. Take this for free from me that NO TRIBAL HETEREGENOUS COUNTRY WHERE EACH TRIBES OWN THEIR COMMUNITIES CAN EVER DEVELOP WITHOUT PARLIAMENTARY DEMOCRACY WHERE EVERY TRIBES COMBINE TO RULE THE COUNTRY.

This is how people smoke weed and yarn nonsense. WHAT WAS NIGERIA POPULATION DURING MILITARY RULE?
As long as Nigeria depends on selling and sharing oil money, while population is growing in geometric progression, then naija will continue to get worse day after day. During military rule, naija population was never up to 100m, But today, it is 230million.
