    Thanks for the tips. I can't wait to try this the next time I build an airplane. I hate the gap where the wings meet the fuselage. I have tried putty, but then I lose the rivet details when I sand the putty.

      You can try this method and just be really careful when sanding. Make sure you are using a really fine grit sandpaper to avoid sanding off your rivets as well!
