It's always a heartwarming welcome to see a loved one return home after a deployment it must take a lot of hard work on the family and their kids and their loved ones just like my girlfriend soon to be my wife Chelsea who served 12 years in the United States Air Force she got off that plane we cried we hugged and I played our favorite song which was Kiss God gave rock and roll to you and to all the men and women who serve in the armed forces thank you so much God bless
I also want to applaud the spouses. As a Former military wife it takes a very special person to be able to "handle things" while there loved one is deployed. Hugs go out to all of you!!!

My last Deployment ended in November 1980. Crying was not for happiness. When Ianded in the states, called my wife and she told me she was Divorcing me. She did pick me up at the airport and drive me home then left for the night. She is okay now, but what sucked she was an Air Force brat! We are friends now, but still miss her!
