    This dude averaged 36 ppg during the ‘88 playoffs yet haters still say he couldn’t have won a playoff series without Scottie. Scottie, with all due respect, was not that good his rookie and sophomore seasons. He didn’t become the player we all know and love until about 1990/91. So MJ still had to carry the team up until that point. Give mike his respect man smh.

      Yep. I remember a lot of people thinking he wasn't ready to be on the Dream Team.
      But when he really became a baller, seemed like he got better every game.

    "Rapidly Balding" Jordan was a PROBLEM for NBA defenders because he was a savage with every skill and talent in the book. Nothing could stop him or even slow him down, for that matter.

    the reason for the back to back 50pt game was was because after he scored 50 with Craig Ehlo on him Ron Harper was quoted n the paper saying MJ would never get 50 on me so while guarding him he scored 55 for extra measures

    MJ driving to basket puts his right hand on the floor to keep his balance and some how still makes the lay up. How did he do some sh*t like that going full speed? DAMN!

    The 2nd game was more impressive. Not only were the Cavs more aggressive in their defensive schemes against him, he showed more of his game scoring in more diverse ways.

    @davidayalon1 : yeah, in the regular season. MJ did it in the Playoffs. He almost did it twice too, he had a 49 and 63 point games vs the eventual champion Boston Celtics in 1986 coming back from an injury which sidelined him for 60+ games.

    Didn't even show the Jordan injury towards the end of the first game that looked at first like it would be a career-ending injury--before he comes back and scores 10 more. In the FIRST GAME. Then scored 55 in the second.

    Love how people putting Steph Curry in the same sentence. Curry is no doubt the greatest 3 point shooter of all time - already.
    But basketball player?? Please. Its MJ by far. Not even close.

      @AHMAD-2324 8 років тому +4

      Who has compared Curry to The G.O.A.T?...Because whomever did that dumbshit. Something is seriously wrong with them. Curry is not even on the same planet as MJ as Basketball player. 3 Pointer shooter yes and that's a Lil bit of debate even in clutch moments. Bcuz we've seen MJ make'em Wit the Game on the line. We haven't seen Curry do that yet. But player to player...Their is no comparison!!

    Yes he did, in fact, 4 straight games. I'm not sure why you're getting thumbs down, because medestinier didn't make it clear that he is reffering to playoff games only.

    what makes jordan better than kobe is that he can perform better in a critical situation. he's the guy who you can rely on and he can even elevate the whole team. so he's not only skills. :)

  • @francoisgrenier
    @francoisgrenier 14 років тому +1

    @spitnificent kobe is great, but what made jordan better was the quality of the competittion. it was a time where almost every team had a chance. whos garding kobe these days? a bunch of slackers...jordan was guarded by starks, drexler, payton, wilkins, magic, elo, penny hardaway, tim hardaway, etc.

    in the play offs period
    and stop trying to compare kobe with M.J. cuz
    kobe is not even close to M.J.'s level.

    Why we compared MJ to lebron and kobe.. kobe copy all the moves of jordan but he cant copy the style of basketball of mj the competitiveness,the way he hang in the air into the basket kobe didmt close the way MJ do into basketball also Lebron i am 25 years old but i know who's the goat i can see in my eyes Lebron didn't close to Mj anymore

  • @spitnificent
    @spitnificent 14 років тому +1

    I can't see how certain people would say that Kobe is better at getting to the hole than MJ just because Kobe fans emphasized his ballhandling since Kobe did. MJ had a timely countermove for the defense almost immediately. I don't even know why I even brought Kobe in the comparison, IMO he's not even the best in the league right now.
