Your upbringing really shapes the way a child grows up. Marlon Brando certainly had a not so great childhood, which is such a tragedy in itself. His confidence was deeply affected by his father who would tell him on a dailey basis that he would amount to nothing but Marlon seemed to counteract at least some of it. He had Uber Gorgeous looks & was
the very best actor in film/cinema history. He always appeared very cool, calm, collected and confident. He was also one very smart guy who knew at least something about every subject. His curiosity made him a voracious reader. He was always very eager to find out new things. Brando was an excellent dancer & drummer ( he took lessons from Katherine Dunham's Wonderful Dance School) He had several patents to his name. His mind & intelligence were always more then a few steps ahead of the pack. Brando was always an impeccable dresser. Just seeing him in an article of clothing was enough to make people go out and by it. In the movie the "Wild One" the leather jacket he wore (a Shott Perfecto 618) sold continuously right after that movie. You can most certainly say that Marlon Brando
was way ahead of his time. BTW Shott Perfecto's are the best leather jackets. I have one & wouldn't trade it for the world, it still looks like the day I bought it. Wouldn't be seen in anything other than a Perfecto.

Guaoo ver alpacino que es un leyenda viviente hablando así de otra leyenda del cine es increíble! Para mí alpacino es más que un actor de cine esta hecho de polvo de estrellas junto con otros actores más..

After WWII my pops visited his friend Mack, an actor, in New York. They served in the marines together in the South Pacific. They went into a little club with live music and Marlon was on stage with the band playing congas. Seeing him here doing that reminded me of Mack's story. Different world back then.

Muy buenisimo actor mas en dramas .. el mejor de los tiempos
No prestado muchísima atención a los subtítulos pero alrededor del minuto 47, dicen Hoboken (Nueva Jersey) y no Brooklyn, como aparece en los subtítulos. De cualquier forma gran documental, y agradezco mucho que en vez de doblado, lo hayan subido en VO. Muchas gracias!

Completamente de acuerdo, atractivo salvaje, guapisimo, ha interpretado toda clase de personajes, todos ellos con un trabajo magistral, lo descubre en la pelicula La Ley del Silencio" desde entonces siempre fue' mi actor favorito.

Terry Malloy in ON THE WATERFRONT, Napoleon in DESIREE, sang and danced in GUYS AND DOLLS, a Japanese man in TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON, a contrite nazi in YOUNG LIONS then directed ONE EYED JACKS.

It’s funny when you consider how many people are non conformists, can’t hide their anger because they have to be honest and would rather spend time watching insects do their thing then hang out at events but because their not rich their considered losers. It’s his talent and his insightful ness and honesty that I find interesting and in life where do you find that. I can only go within to find that.

He was a phenomenal method actor. But he was a very damaged man. He treated women like shit and yet at the same time had a vulnerability, which I'm sure helped him in his acting ability...he also had a deep affection for indigenous people and defended them fiercely.

Mickey Rourke is the only one who was the heir apparent to Marlon. They had a similar natural style if acting. In their personal lives there are tons of similarities. Brando beats out Rourke because he was also a stage actor.

Una decepción total Marlon Brando. Llegó a la cima, pero no supo conservarla. A finales de su carrera, con la fama ganada, vivía del elogio y alabanza de muchos; pero fue mala persona: ocioso, víctima de sus instintos animales con mujeres, mal padre, embarazó a muchas mujeres con su fama de gran actor y abandonó a sus hijos. Fue un pésimo ejemplo paterno, se llevó mal con Hollywood, con su país, sus amigos, sus vecinos, egoísta por naturaleza, jamás quiso a alguien, ni a sus padres. En resumen, fue una inmundicia de persona, irreverente, malcriado, vulgar, defectuoso. Lo peor es que en una época de mi juventud lo creí el mejor actor de USA
