It reminds me of that absolute piece of shit judge from the rapist Brock Turner's case who didn't want to "ruin a young man's whole life" over a few minutes of bad decisions. I can't remember how it was phrased but it's a disgusting mindset when in the context of a horrible crime
Right?!? Actions have consequences, full stop. Choices have consequences. I don't care how long the action takes, that isn't relevant. Not to mention that their victims also have to suffer the consequences, for the rest of their lives, and they didn't even actually make the choice. The man who lost his entire family in one instant has to live with that for the rest of his life. Your "fun" caused that, so I don't really care how long it lasted. It's a disgusting excuse to dodge accountability and I'm tired of it.
When I saw this Justin for Cameron BS a couple of weeks ago I was like, "Imagine being the family of that woman and her child and seeing people cry out for justice for their killer and having an entirely different view of what 'justice' means for that person."
It reminds me of how women were constantly simping for Charles Manson while he was in prison as well as Ted Bundy. Or even a few school shooters. These days its the whole “gatcha community.” In all honesty I still don’t know what gatcha is.
Regarding the first story: Ted Bundy had a huge fanbase trying to get him to not be sentenced for anything because he was considered too attractive. Goes to show that people are willing to rally behind pretty much anything
I hated the way that Zac Efron Bundy movie portrayed him - like he loved his girlfriend. He tried to gas her with the fireplace when she passed out drunk, it just didn't work! Baffles me how glorified Ted is.

There are more evil people in this world than I think people know, but they are inert, spineless, and dont have the wearwithall to do anything in kind so they turn to worship to live vicariously.
Charles Manson? Richard Ramirez? Unfortunately men and women have been flocking to and sending love letters to and supporting killers for way longer than just the past couple years lol

those people are definitely among those who I am disgusted at, true justice tolls out justice for the crime not the criminal. (as in it looks at what he did and why he did it, not who he is or what he looks like)
As an Australian i'm used to bushfires, i've been evacuated 3 times in my life because of them. Last year was the worst we'd ever seen but the thought that occurred to me then and returns to me now is "what happens when it's everywhere?". A large part of our success in fighting the fires is a close friendship with Canada and America who extremely generously lend us water bombing aircraft and crews during our fire season and we reciprocate by sending some of our professional teams over there to help during their season. But as climate change increasingly screws things up both of our seasons are so long they overlap, what happens when another 2020 scale bushfire breaks out and America and Canada and everyone else is already at capacity fighting their own blazes? And fires are just one of the many weapons the broken weather will throw at us, it's hard not to think this is the beginning of the end.
An Aussie here too, I have scared for the next horrible bushfire season but I’ve never been personally affected by it and my heart goes out I feel terrible to lose everything. I’m 2020, there was a fire that was 30 min away that was over 300,000 hectares and we had a catastrophic day as well
That line about "he's too pretty" reminds me of both times I've had jury duty, and it's why I've no faith in the juried aspect of the justice system. Trying to think critically in the face of someone else on the jury simping over some conventionally attractive murderer would probably give me a stroke.
This whole "Too hot to go to prison" shit keeps happening and just another nail in the coffin for my faith in humanity. I need you to google the halo effect (and no it doesn't involve master chief) and realize how much this fucks everyone's abilities to make decisions, and is why just being good looking and/or charming keeps working as a get out of jail free card.
This is one of the reasons why it's so important society stops putting so much value on physical appearance. It isn't new either, Ted Bundy had a huge group of supporters, humans never learn from their mistakes...
I feel you but please don't hate all of humanity for it. This is more a problem of this system we have built today where people prone to this effect can get away with it. (Call it patriarchy, supremacy, late stage capitalism, whatever) Many MANY older civilizations actively combatted this effect and many others by not even allowing narcissistic, psychopathic, or tyrannical people to come to power, and by utilizing systems of punishment that did not lend itself to such easy corruption. We need to change the system if we want to stop these problems from happening in the first place.
If u ask me, 24 years isn't enough time. The people supporting him either dont care or dont understand that a mother and her kid lost their lives, their whole future. It affects their family and friends, so its beyond me how people are supporting him?!
Agreed. I'm not sure on the 24 years though? Aren't we suppose to be rehabilitating kids not sending them to prison for most their life? Tbf I'm not sure how you'd do that in a case of murder like this

These fires are literally crazy. Here in BC, the visibility and air quality has been extremely poor for almost a month now. I wasn’t able to go outside due to my asthma, like so many people in the area, I and we couldn’t see any of the mountains or lakes at all. I think around 60% of homes in BC don’t have filtered AC systems (thankfully my family does), and a large majority of the population is of elderly people. We were able to see the stars last night as well as the view of the valley, but I fear that it won’t last long. It feels so alien. It’s scary out here. To know that this is happening around the world is terrifying.
@@TheOneAndOnlyFen Are you joking? People are losing their homes due to the fire and no one has control over how it burns. Now is not the time for sarcastic comments.
because to get parole you have to prove you are sorry and have learnt your lesson - something his lawyer will greatly struggle with in the future if the public are trying to make excuses for him and downplay the severity of what he done.
It's super weird, there's someone with a LOT of money behind all this, paying all those bots and fake accounts to spread this shit. Of course some kids are going to believe it's real and go with it for the clout or because they really think he's innocent, but most of them are just bots.
Since I've gotten older I've been of the opinion that 18-year-old kids shouldn't own cars that can go 100 miles an hour when I was 18 I drove a shit box and I still almost killed myself and other people. I can't imagine what I would have done if I had a brand new mustang. One of my classmates from high school got a brand new BMW for his 18th birthday and flipped it within a few hours.
@@Medoosa69420 yeah, I understand that in the context of the US being a bloody huge place with terrible public transport there isn't really another solution but it still seems crazy. Limits on the kind of cars you could drive until slightly older does sound like a good compromise.
May I just say that as an American who didn’t get a hang of the whole “driving” thing until I was 18, at which point I got my license, it’s nice to know that in other places that isn’t strange. Here not only is 16 the minimum, it’s basically expected in any place short of NYC. You’re considered weird or stunted in your maturation if you can’t drive right out the gate.
That’s a common phrase in situations regarding sexual assault as well. It is not an adequate reason to alter a sentence. Unless the altering is to make the sentence longer.
I used to work with a guy that bragged on and on about his street racing and his amazing car and encouraged others to join in. Meanwhile all I could think of was the 3 employees that year that got ran over on their way home and nobody has found the culprit yet. I'm glad he got caught. I wish lives didn't have to be lost in the process.
I feel incensed that someone would say "1 hour of fun = 24 years in prison?" Recklessness isn't fun. If someone's behavior is endangering other people it needs to be dealt with. If it killed someone, then it can't be taken lightly. I might think wildly waving a machete in public is fun, but people around me might feel terrified. Those people aren't having fun. If I accidentally slice someone's head off then that person's life is over. Driving recklessly isn't having fun, that's endangering other people. Fun is when everyone is having a good time. If other people are in danger and didn't consent to the activities involved, that's recklessness and wanton endangerment. Plus, he's old enough to know better. And what does his attractiveness have to do with anything? And why aren't these people thinking about his victims? That child will NEVER have a chance to define her own life or do any number of things she could have done. That mother was denied her ability to raise her kid and the joys and frustrations that come with it. And what I also see here, and I say this as a man, is prioritizing the life and rights of a young white boy over women whose lives he destroyed. And that, to me, is infuriating. To dismiss his act of murder, intentional or not, as "having fun" entirely fails to capture the effect on the woman and child he killed as if he just broke some city property or something.
Real street racers go on it at empty highways lol Sometimes there’s some money betting with it Even using cars to hold off non participants from getting too close
It's fucking insane. It's like the people that are defending him are conveniently forgetting that he drove 100mph into a woman and her 21 month old child, killing both.
Here’s a PSA: Parents, do NOT buy your kids a sports car. Your little angel is not responsible enough to handle it. Cameron is a monster. His parents are also to blame for giving a child a race car and wondering why he raced it.
Some people don't care about cars and try to do things the lazy way: Street racing Rather than: Taking your fucking car to a track after getting more experience driving
To be fair at this point if he is a rich kid maybe he just bought it for himself, but I agree its also on the parents to raise the kids right and reach them about what is dangerous and to make sure they know the value of other human life. But if they bought it for him, I 100% agree with you
@@Filip97X I think he was 18 when he killed those people, so it's very likely the parents were involved in the purchase of the car. But given that the dude got fined multiple times previously for speeding and reckless driving (up to getting his licence suspended), I do 100% agree with you that it's primarily and predominantly on him.
tbf all it takes is one massive stan to splash all their cash on a bot farm, and before you know it, actual people let their emotions get caught up in the movement without actually using their brains
The thing I remember most about Cameron is his sentencing video when his expression went from "I don't care about this" to "HOLY FUCK WHAT DID THE JUDGE JUST SAY!?" about as fast as he was driving that night. It was practically meme worthy
It's not the first time that people have "thirsted" after a criminal facing trial/criminal sentencing. Ted Bundy comes to mind. "Too handsome to go to prison" and "Too handsome to be a criminal".
It somehow happens with pretty much any high profile murder case. Both of the Menendez brothers got married in prison, and one of them got divorced after his wife found out he was communicating with another woman.

Well, Lil Nas X doesn’t need to comment on homophobia. A queer person is already facing homophobia, if they wish to protect themselves by not talking about homophobia or something homophobic that can trigger them, that’s perfectly okay. "Try to lead with love, when possible" is such underrated advice. Love and compassion can go a long way, and I believe acting with compassion will lead to long term improvements. But it's impossible to do that all the time. Sometimes, people are going to be hateful; sometimes, people just refuse to understand. So, you are allowed to protect yourself, you are allowed to stand up for yourself, and you are allowed to fight back.
Well said. Sometimes you need to draw a line and stand up for who you are. That said, I need to practice leading with love more often. It should be the first thing we do.
The phrase does take into consider exceptions. That's why the "when possible" is a part of it. No one can be compassionate or positive all of the time. I think it's cool that this phrase does include a piece to add exceptions.
Yet "Let's put him in the middle of the street and see how well he does against a mustang" Dude's a hypocrite. Not the first time he brings up these comments.

Lil Nas saying the pandemic helped seeing how we don’t need to please everybody resonates so hard. I stopped using social media for likes or approval and just use it to give opinions, to stay updated or for entertainment, and it’s become so much healthier for me. Not saying that’s what needs to happen, but people need to realize that likes, followers or approval will become so toxic unless you know how to balance it out with yourself and reality. Being in quarantine helped me realize that people don’t actually care about how I actually am, but how they see me. If I upload a photo of how I gained weight, they will THINK I’m “unhealthy” or “depressed”, and if upload a photo of me looking good and skinny, they will think I’m “healthy” and “thriving”. People use social media to care about what they see, not what is beneath it. I’m glad that was highlighted by Lil Nas cause it’s true, it’s kind of freeing to stop thinking about what others think of you or relate to, based on assumptions.
This is 100% true. Ever since I stopped going on social media, I've been happier, healthier, and just in a better mental state generally. I still use social media now though, but the trick is being consistently aware of how it's effecting you and not indulging in it too much. I've stopped paying attention to follows, likes, etc
I live in Oregon. Arguably the most beautiful state in the US. It depresses me beyond belief to know that these fires are the new normal. We're likely going to lose the state as we know it within my lifetime. I do my best, you know? I recycle everything I can, vote as often as possible to effect change at a higher level, support my local business, limit how much I drive, eat very little meat and animal products, only turn on the AC when my home is above 80°, etc. But you know what? It's not enough. I cannot possibly do enough. In a society driven by money and greed, it will never ever be enough. I am beside myself with grief over the inevitable loss of my home state. Fire season starts a little earlier on average every year. My throat hurts again from all the smoke. I miss the rain. You know, Bo Burnham said it best. "20,000 years of this, 7 more to go."
As a gay man, Lil Nas X is the representation I wish I had had when I was a teenager coming out in a small town. Personally, I love what Lil Naz X has been doing lately. I know what it feels like to be told that you’re “really cool for a gay person” and it always comes off as a compliment until you realize it’s an inherent insult to a part of you. What he did was terrible and incredibly stupid. But I don't think incarcerating a 21 year old for 24 years is the right answer. Ted Bundy was considered a good looking/charismatic guy. Don’t think anyone with a sane mind would be ok for letting him go. I understand it’s a drastic difference comparing this kid to Ted Bundy but you can’t let someone go with a swat on the hand for having good looks. Come on.
Actually, if you saw the documentary, or even if you were alive back then, during his first court and TV appearance, some people who saw him immediately said he was innocent based on his looks. And even some after all the evidences have been presented asked that he should be set free and still believed in his innocence. The ironic part is that most of this doubters were women, basically Ted's prey. So this isn't something new, some people can be biased and swayable just by looks alone.

To be fair, scientifically speaking, that wording is wrong. You nor I have the capability to understand the events that would've unfolded otherwise. For example: Lets say the Mom chose to go earlier/later and avoid getting in the collision (and lets assume no one else got hurt at all) then the chances of that baby living a lifetime what are they exactly? Firstly we have to determine is the child a man or woman (that does play a role, depending on the place of birth it can be life or death due to society views and hate crimes against women) My main point is that you're wrong in claiming he took away an entire lifetime. She could've died from cancer at age 13, she could've taken her own life at age 17, she could've gotten into another car crash in age 5 or 30, claiming its a lifetime is rather bold of you. How do you know the events would've unfolded perfectly that that young child would've lived an "entire lifetime" so no I am not saying he shouldn't be punished I mainly am attacking your false wording. Ofc it is possible she could've lived to 100 and lived a whole lifetime but still, the chances of that are slim especially if we don't know everything. If we knew the area she would live in or reside in (either her state for her whole life or multiple regions) then we can identify the landscape, and the people) from there we identify each and every persons mind, their base mind, we then try to identify the chances of them becoming corrupted and doing bad deeds and how close they are/could get to the child and if they would affect them at all. You see there are so many variables that humans can not comprehend or even possibly perceive. The one thing I find most fun (this is off topic) is that humans are random, they don't make sense, meaning I could calculate 1 Billion outcomes of the universe and its end and how it would play out and still it would be random, not only would my knowing impact the outcomes but also just randomly a person could choose to not add any sugar to their coffee that day, that then in return changes their mood and that then creates 1 Billion and 1 outcomes, the 1 outcome I didn't perceive which created an entirely new reality, new possibilities. For a human brain to understand time and space entirely is impossible, even understanding 1 version of life itself would most likely overwhelm the human mind. So you have no idea that the young baby would've lived an entire lifetime and the chances are even more likely she wouldn't have lived an entire lifetime. 24 years assumes the mother and daughter both had 24 years left to live (and that's being generous seeing as they could've potentially died in another car crash hours later and he wouldn't be the one paying the price) ultimately the universe and "god" as some believe have a funny way of forcing a outcome. I'd rather not try and look at the varied chances because I would mentally destroy myself but given the right resources I potentially could look at time and seen, is that daughter or her moms death a necessity (did it need to happen for events to not unfold or fold differently) now I am not saying that baby was Hilter's reincarnation after a while but for all you know she could've grown up to be a murderer, or commit genocide. Infinite possibilities, now back to the guy in question I suppose, given that we do not know a lot, the time he is given is quite fair, he isn't intentionally a murderer (as in he didn't want to kill the two) therefore he doesn't deserve more than was given. Tell me Courtney, if I rewound time and space and I intervened by taking the baby and the mom out of the car and saving their lives and the daughter ended up becoming a genocidal maniac would you be content with that? That is one of many risks of time alteration, my point now is that what is now is, and what will be will be. Out of fun one day when I can I will offer you the choice being able to fully fulfill it. When that day comes, you choose, step in and save one child and one mom and risk changing all that life is depending on how important that child was to a specific event unfolding, or let it be how it was and allow time to be unchanged and un-phased by the time alterations I could then make. (Here I will give you a tip, so lets say the events are desirable as in the world isn't ending and all is better than it currently is, if you so choose I can simply pull them out entirely, the Mom and the Baby pulled out of time and space and put back in our current time and space whenever I am able to fulfill my promise. (That way the time doesn't get altered if it doesn't need to and the Mom and the Baby just mysteriously disappeared that day to once more continue existing later on) (Even now as the human suppressed me I can shine through and speak my words, how interesting, now its more complex though)
I can’t imagine being so obsessed with another human being in general, for things they didn’t even earn, but yes, I agree, and I do think he should get even more time.
The mother has a son who made a choice and took responsibility for it. Let him serve his time. He will feel better and so will the family of the two people. I agree with the mother that people have an unhealthy obsession with her son and despite what he did I hope she’s safe. I also hope the family of the mother and her daughter can heal after this tragedy. 🥺
The other thing with the guy in the first story is that he was caught speeding multiple times and told to knock it off. He knew the risk and didn’t care
Hey Phil, We’re on holiday in Greece. The concern is high for fires but I wasn’t prepared to collect firefighting and protest footage while here. Feels like my childhood experience when I saw 200ft flames on the hillside in California. If bad actors are to blame then they are exploiting climate change.
Wow that sounds like the painted cave fire but I know is one of thousands of fires 😭. I grew up in fire territory too, my family is still there. I live in San Francisco so we are affected by smoke but the personal fire risk is quite low. I hope you have a safe trip.
A guy caught with weed with no priors: 15 year sentence. A guy starts fires that could potentially kill First Responders and cause even more damage and could have possibly killed people: 5 year sentence #Murica
That 5 year prison sentence for the guy who set those fires is too small. He put the fire fighters lives in even more danger. He should get a life sentence and pay even more money for endargering these fire fighters and possibly any other people he may have put at risk.
So, there's a 21 year old kid, who did a careless, wreckless, selfish,- pretty typical thing with a young boy and a really fast car- who gets 24 years- for what was essentially a horrible decision but "accidental". Then you have a grown ass man who intentionally tried to kill fire fighters and destroy the environment get only 5? I feel like the balance is way off.
I guess the difference is that one lead to 2 deaths, but the other was "only" the intent to kill. I still agree that grown ass man should've gotten a lot more for it.
THANK YOU I was scrolling through all these comments trying to find someone who was thinking the same thing I was. I think the California man who DELIBERATELY and WILLFULLY tried to burn alive first responders and (possibly) families should get a far worse sentence
Right! Most of the comments are about people on tik tok in regards to the pretty boy. Why is that more concerning than the world being on fire? Just shows how people place more importance on things that are not as important and shallow rather than talking about the real issues.
I live relatively close to the Dixie fire and honestly we’re in for hell this year. Another fire started last week that though much smaller burned a lot in the towns neighboring mine, then another started even closer yesterday in an area that is very hard to reach. The first one at least was probably started by irresponsible campers as it started on a campground. I love living here but sometimes it really doesn’t feel worth it.
I hope you’ll stay safe and while it may be wishful thinking considering your proximity, I hope the fires don’t get any closer to you. I’m just sorry for what you and the people around you are having to go through because of some idiots and one incredibly disgusting person.
I’m so sorry. I’m in Oregon and last September was awful for us with the Lionshead, Beachie Creek and Holiday Farm Fires. We also had entire towns disappear then, and now we have several going again. I’m terrified about the future for the entire west coast.
My exes baby's mother said in court in front of the custody judge that she was too pretty to work. So instead she has 5 kids by 5 men and lives off the state. There's no such thing as being "too pretty" for anything at all. I hate that shit.
the one saying 1 hour of fun shouldn’t equate to 24 years in jail has the exact same energy as rapists going 1 minute of fun shouldn’t ruin their lives. the absolute bullshit.
They have done studies and the attractiveness of a suspect has an impact on whether they are found guilty, and if they are the sentence is often lighter.
re: 'The Green Knight'; Saw it yesterday at the cinema. One of the most...one of the most _striking_ films I've ever seen. It's beautiful, provocative, mysterious, compelling, confusing... My brain ain't big enough to have understood some of what unfolded, but I would highly recommend going to see it/watching it at home. It is probably unlike any film you may have previously seen. It...was...an...experience. 8.5/10
This was a very enjoyable descriptor to read. I love when folks are like "idk what I just watched but I liked it." hopefully I'll get to check it out at some stage! Dev Patel is fantastic so I was hopeful anyway.

I hate that somebody said “one hour of fun for 24 years 🥺” or whatever they said, because literally that’s two entire LIVES cut short, one life BARLEY EVEN GOT TO START because of some guy’s incompetence and stupidity
I feel like I’ve heard the same sort of phrase when it comes to SA cases too. (Dan Turner (father of Brock Turner) called his son’s assault “20 minutes of action”.) Why do some people reduce the ‘fun’ instead of the trauma (and in this case death) of what resulted?
He will spend less hours in prison than the uncountable hours he has taken from two people. The uncountable hours that those people could have shared with loved ones. So disturbing that people can rationalize this.
He's white ,he looks "attractive" ,that's all it takes its happened many times before . its honestly disgusting 🤮 hes a murderer he deserves to serve every second of the sentence .
Vehicular manslaughter gets a very wide variety of sentences. It entirely depends on the context as to how much time people get, if there’s another felony attached then it can be a lot longer.
Did you ever do something reckless that could have ended a life? I am SURE you have, at least once. Imagine that one time killed a person... how is prison the answer to that? He should be punished, yes, but prison is for psychos... not DUMB people that made a mistake.
@Rob Mikels both sides are jumping to conclusions, I cannot say for certain whether the time he was sentenced is to much or to little (cause I don't know enough about the case to accurately judge that) but I can tell that a lot of people are reacting with their emotional side rather then logical side here.
@Rob Mikels nope... its the idea that somehow justice system is there to provide revenge.... it is in US and its broken... jail should be correction facility... but for that a humanity has to come to play... you have to realize that guy is still human, very stupid dumb human but still.... its really sad that you just want to destroy guys life, he deserves jail, but not his life taken... just goes to show how violent people are if they think they have a right to be
I don't listen to Lil Nas X or rap in general, but the guy has my respect. Hope he can feel safe & continue to unapologetically be himself. Wish I had half that courage & confidence.

I like for the algorithm gods and so Phil become the biggest internet news show in all polls. Not just the completely true poll he created in his head.
2 weeks ago in Canada the fires were so bad that the smoke was blowing over from neighbouring provinces causing us to shut down in Ontario even though we have no current fires. I can't imagine what the people and wildlife are going through due to our overconsumption
Honestly when it comes to sentences like this I'm in a spot where I just don't believe in punitive justice anymore. So I wouldn't want decades of prison that won't do anything other than break him down mentally for the satisfaction of others. But I wouldn't put my argument alongside people who just don't want him to go prison because he's hot. Rehabilitation should be the goal of criminal justice. Help the victims in a meaningful way, a way that isn't just showing them the perpetrator suffering. And then with the perpetrator, assess the risk they pose to others and figure out what led them to this and do what you can to make sure they can't do it again. In best case, getting them to understand on a fundamental level their actions.
@Devil's Advocate that wouldn't help you. it's easy to bluster online about what you'd do to someone if they committed horrible acts against you but the truth is if you're any kind of decent human being you will find it very hard to take another's life and you certainly won't feel better afterwards. soldiers in active combat barely ever fire their weapons at people, it's a tremendous mental toll to kill another human being. the death penalty constantly changing its method of execution to silence screams and be bloodless is proof of that. it's only for the benefit of people watching. people are only able to take some degree of "closure" from it as long as they don't have to see death up close.
Rehabilitation should be the goal but you HAVE to have a lengthy sentence where you are forced to suffer to feel the weight of your crimes ESPECIALLY if it’s murder. You’re being too kind to this person who took the lives of two innocent people away. 24 years in jail is not that long. If he didn’t wanna go to jail, he should’ve avoided behaviors that led to murder. He will still live after jail but those two victims obviously won’t.
Rehabilitation is useless in some cases. Not everyone can or wants to be rehabilitated, nor should they be able to do so. You're just trying to be nice and kind, but some of the worst perpetrators don't deserve that. You remove recidivism and push down the crime rate if you remove this sort of kindness from the judiciary too.
Couldn't agree with this more. The kid made a mistake, a deadly mistake that took the life of essentially a baby. It's tragic and he should be held accountable for his actions. But 24 years!? Damn. There are people in jail that intended to murder people that have lighter sentences than this kid. Was what he did stupid? Hell yeah. Criminally negligent? You bet. But it's not like he did it intentionally. I mean shouldn't he have been charged with manslaughter? Better yet just like the first comment, how about instead of ruining another life, try and rehabilitate him? He is the kind of convicted felon that could actually reenter society and not be a danger.
This comment is spot on. It makes no sense to take someone who committed an unintentional crime or a misdemeanor and put them in a group with much harder criminals and gang members and basically force them to either integrate into that primal society or basically be killed. For anyone who has never been in jail, you don’t really have a choice with how you act or who your friends are and that is enforced by the system itself to make the place how it is. So to take a kid that committed manslaughter and probably could have been easily ‘treated’ in a therapy center to integrate back into society at a later date and instead put him in a dog pit where there is no chance he will be able to become a better person makes absolutely no sense if actual rehabilitation is the true goal. This just goes to show you the American justice system does not actually care about helping it’s members of society who faulted. It only cares to leech money from anyone it can land in its walls because it does not want to truly better its people. It only wants to exploit those that it can for all their worth and then toss them aside to the hounds they themselves created from their own faulty system.

Did you know that Lucifer is considered “the shining one” as his name is Morningstar, and he is usually depicted as having an otherworldly beauty. He would still stop at *Ch☼ld M☼rder* and say “throw that bitch in a pit” Demons have standards too.
He wasn't considered that, that's what it literally means. Lucifer isn't a name, it's just words that they didn't tanslate from the vulgate. It was a title given to a now very dead babylonian king.
No, he would not stop at child murder. Evidence: King Herod. Not sure where you’re getting your ideas about the devil’s morality from, but he only masquerades as an angel of light. Just like our dear hot friend Cameron, his beauty doesn’t make him righteous in any way.
Wow, he is facing 5 years for trying to strategically light fires in order to trap first responders while they risk their lives to try and save everyone else. I'm kinda salty tho. I got 7 years for half a pill of ecstasy... I think he needs more time or I was royally screwed.
I think he needs more time & I think you got royally screwed. No one should be sentenced to prison for ANY drugs on a personal use level. I personally don’t think anyone should be sentenced to prison for any drugs, but it’s disgusting to see it for that. Or 2 crack rocks etc.
Yeah that is wild, unless they tacked on some sort of dealing charge it I'm not sure why that sentence would be so high for half a pill of e. But also yes that man was essentially trying to murder people doing their job so the only reason I could see they went for something less was because they wanted to go with whatever had the most evidence and make sure it stuck.
The thing about the fires that fucks with me the most is that I lived in Alaska right above the Arctic circle for a handful of years. During that time the number of Native Alaskans who died trying to walk or ride across a river that, in the past, would have still been frozen for a few more weeks or even months, only to punch through and disappear was staggering. Not only that but my last year there our school actually got put into lockout (basically keep everyone inside and lock out all outside dangers) because a fire broke out on the tundra and they were scrambling to fix it before kids were dismissed to wander home on their own like usual. Just from the general energy of the people I saw trying to fight it, this wasn’t normal, and it wasn’t found to be a result of arson or anything.
People are so weird...

Came here to say exactly that
That was what I was reminded of as well. These people are awful.

We're so well and truly fucked.
An Aussie here too, I have scared for the next horrible bushfire season but I’ve never been personally affected by it and my heart goes out I feel terrible to lose everything. I’m 2020, there was a fire that was 30 min away that was over 300,000 hectares and we had a catastrophic day as well

I feel you but please don't hate all of humanity for it. This is more a problem of this system we have built today where people prone to this effect can get away with it. (Call it patriarchy, supremacy, late stage capitalism, whatever)
Many MANY older civilizations actively combatted this effect and many others by not even allowing narcissistic, psychopathic, or tyrannical people to come to power, and by utilizing systems of punishment that did not lend itself to such easy corruption.
We need to change the system if we want to stop these problems from happening in the first place.

I can't imagine what I would have done if I had a brand new mustang. One of my classmates from high school got a brand new BMW for his 18th birthday and flipped it within a few hours.

Of course it was a Mustang lol

This was made by Mazda Miata gang 😎
Preach!
Legit killing a mother and child I wouldn’t classify as “fun” but I guess many people are just as heartless as I imagined
Real street racers go on it at empty highways lol

To be fair at this point if he is a rich kid maybe he just bought it for himself, but I agree its also on the parents to raise the kids right and reach them about what is dangerous and to make sure they know the value of other human life. But if they bought it for him, I 100% agree with you
@@Filip97X I think he was 18 when he killed those people, so it's very likely the parents were involved in the purchase of the car.
This. When its not safe to be yourself, you are not lesser or weak for putting your safety first.

With the Lil Nas X situation, I’m reminded of Brandon K. Goodman’s response to DaBaby’s comments. When asked to speak on it on his instagram stories he said (roughly) he shouldn’t have to. The public should be able to assume a gay black person’s stance on homophobic comments, and people should be pressing straight rap artists & celebrities and challenging them for responses instead.

About 4 years ago I commented that sometimes watching you felt like the beginning of a future horror movie. The future is now. At least you entertain as the world burns down around us. Also thanks for sharing all of your struggles. It is important for people to see that success does not rid you of problems. It does make it easier to get help but you still have to do all the mind work yourself. Keep it up, man.
Same.
I can’t imagine being infatuated with someone who killed a baby and mother. He took away an entire lifetime, he deserves every day he got in prison. Maybe even more!
Exactly
Double time as it was 2 lives he took!
Lmao @ the other person who wrote a novel trying to defend this fool, reported your comment you pos.
The mother has a son who made a choice and took responsibility for it. Let him serve his time. He will feel better and so will the family of the two people.

The Cameron situation is so freaking disgusting! How the hell can anyone think he deserves *less* time?!

In the words of Bill Nye, "The planet's on FUCKING FIRE!!!"

Did you know that Lucifer is considered “the shining one” as his name is Morningstar, and he is usually depicted as having an otherworldly beauty. He would still stop at *Ch☼ld M☼rder* and say “throw that bitch in a pit”
Demons have standards too.

But also yes that man was essentially trying to murder people doing their job so the only reason I could see they went for something less was because they wanted to go with whatever had the most evidence and make sure it stuck.
It's an attempted mass murder, no? 5 years is ludicrous
