Well from what i can understand (since the anime is all in japanese and i can't find the manga translated post chapter 4) both the anime and manga, especially the manga, become much, much serious later, even the past of all characters is pretty dark for what the anime looks to be, the lyrics of this song pretty much resume a lot of Kuro's character and feelings
