the best thing of this game is that the commentary guy can read the name of the character you create, it's nice hearing he say the name, other sports games need to implement this feature as well and not limit you to select a few names.
I have this on PS2 and they have the Miami Marlins unis , but they still have then playing in the football stadium . I was hoping with this being the last game for PS2 they would have added the new stadium in the game .
@nerfgunexpert That shit is coming soon, these are quick and raw gameplays for people to get an idea if they like the way the game is set up or not. I can get these out quick while working on edits for the stuff with commentary.
@DieKolkrabe Thank you, I have said all along that this game does not measure up to the show, but I will ALWAYS choose variety over a single licensed setup like we have with Madden. I like to play this series as a change of pace to the Show now and then.
mlb the show has pretty perfect commentary. it has for years. Everytime i play it people think im watchin a game and it feels like baseball. not just a video game. of course if mlb 2k13 gives me what mlb 12 the show did ill be all set.
@SportsGamingUniverse I use 2K for relaxing, it's more of a pick up and play or association mode game, it is very, VERY good in those regards with better trade AI than the Show, but the Show has better on field gameplay and a slightly better music selection.

Man, I wish I could find a good PC baseball game. Nothing since this game has ever come close (even on consoles). Even MLB The Show 21 has horrendous commentary compared to this... that game doesn't sound nearly as natural as MLB 2K12. I have no idea how they did it back in the day!

Imgine if SCEA had to make MLB 12 for PC, X360 and Wii, it definitely wouldn't be as good as it is when they can focus on the PS3. @ChipDaDuck113 I just finished playing my season opener with the braves at citi field last night. Didn't notice anything new but then again I wouldn't since I'm not a mets fan. lol All I noticed was I got rocked by Santana.
One thing that annoyed me in 2K9 is that EVERY game had a full crowd. I was the braves and I wasn't that good ans even when we played at the Marlins at their old stadium and it was sold out, even if I was up 9-0 in the 8th. I'm assuming it's the same in 2K12 but it's so far from reality and they really need to fix that.
@silverblack I think that 2K12 not only has the better commentary, but the MLB Today feature is amazing, and I just think that it's more fun to play than The Show (especially the pitching). The Show is amazing, but it's feels stale now.

@Shabamb1zzle13 Actually it's not It has the little nuances that you like about baseball the only thing I really wanted to see was headtracking it may not seem important to you,but for me it adds realism to the game that way. They also added in the necklaces that players always wear. The graphics aren't all that great and that may be an issue, but that's not all a game is about it's about fun and some form of realism. If The Show had the controls that 2k has it'd be the perfect game.
I'm guessing EA will eventually get it, but for now i just play mlb the show. the show isn't bad, but i still like playing mvp baseball 2005 on my xbox than playing mlb 12 the show on my ps3
i don't see what the problem is with this game. sure most of the faces are off but in my opinion the graphics, gameplay and commentary are dope. i like the show too but i prefer this to the show
